This hotel has an awesome location, near Piccadilly Square, Oxford Circus, the West End theaters and Soho. It's a good place to go if you are doing a party weekend or night in London. The staff were excellent, the room adequate and the price over the top. At this hotel, it is luxurious, but you definitely are paying to be in the heart of things. The room itself was no nicer than what you'd get at a good airport hotel near Heathrow, but if you are coming down and want a nice place for a short stay, I wouldn't shy away from this property. It's a solid 4* and definitely better than Premier Inn or Holiday Inn, but they charge 5* prices here and it is not a 5*.

nice enough for one night stay was practicle and right in the heart of the westend.
I was greeted with a yummy hot cookie which was a nice touch. I was tired from work so had room service save going out and the food was lovely. I cannot fault any of the food even breakfast was yummy.
I would stay there again the staff are very friendly and make u feel welcome

things that let them down - softer dresing gowns and softer towels would be nice. The bath was very slippery and i fell whilst showering so caution there! Tea and coffee facilities would be nice to have in the room you would expect this of a 5*hotel. Also the rooms are tatty in areas and i think the decorating needs to be addressed in some rooms.

Stayed in a 'suite': Bathroom wall panel missing allowing mould, shower only v hot or v cold, TV could not be seen from bed (at fixed right angle), TV and music channels did not work, paint peeling on doors, blown bulb in lamp.

The place was tired and uncared for. Nowhere near worth £480 a night they charge for the room.

Staff are friendly though. Rooms are dispiriting. Felt like they were charging greedy central London rates rather than give me a room worth the money.

We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel using Hilton Honors points. The hotel is in a good location, close to the Oxford Circus undergound, shops and restauants; however, the hotel itself is hard to find because there is only a small sign near the front door of the building and a flag with the hotel name and logo. Our driver passed by it 2 times before we realized where it was. Luckily, the front of the building is decorated with long strings of Christmas lights so it is easy to spot at night. Our king bed room was a nice size although the furniture arrangement makes the entry area a little tight. The room was cleaned well every day and all the toiletry items were replaced as needed, but as a previous poster mentioned, the quality of the towels was sorely lacking - they were thin and frayed and not something you would expect from a Hilton property. The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked (a little soft and lumpy) but overall it was decent and we had no problem sleeping. The staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. There is a very small business center with 2 computers and a printer next to the front desk that was perfect for checking e-mail. Across the street you can find a Starbucks and Pret A Manger along with many other stores and restaurants. There is also a Marks & Spencer department store just down the block which has a large grocery store in the basement floor level. We would most like stay at this property again when returning to London.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Our room was very nice and the service very good.
It is interesting to see how an Asian theme has been overlaid on what the building used to be, which was a magistrates court house. It may be better to bring the history of the building out without trying to change it in any way.
The only complaint we would have about our stay in this hotel is the "Silk" dining room. We had dinner there one night and waited fourty minutes after placing our order before anything to eat was placed on our table. When the food did arrive it was not very good. We felt sorry for the waiter, he tried his best to do a first class job but can only do so much if the food service is not up to par.
Found the Internet service to be very good but pricey.

I booked this hotel early because of the positive reviews, 10 days before we left the reviews had changed from good to very poor especially on hygiene. I was so concerned I contacted the hotel and they told me they would ensure we had a good stay and the room was clean.

I would give the room 85% it is slightly dated but it was mostly clean, a few odd looking stains on upholstery, the towels were quite old but clean. A light not working. You have to request an iron and tea and coffee if you want them which is a bit strange. It should be 4 stars based on other hotels we have stayed in around London.

The location is fab, however it is noisy but you expect that with where it is. The staff were very nice. Overall we were quite happy

1. I booked 3 nights thro' Amex and was told by the Sunday manager that the full tariff had to be paid even if I stayed only 1 night for any reason.
2. One of the rooms stank like a toilet.
3. The fruits on offer were stale and rotten.
4. The towels were a disgrace for a Hilton.
5. Toiletries were not replenished concientiously.
