“Great hotel - Must Stay”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

Room was upgraded, was on the first floor looking towards Soho and had huge bed and jacuzzi bath and shower.

DIdnt use the restaurant as checked out earlier to get a train but colleagues said this was also very nice.

Great location.

Room Tip: 1126 on the front facing Soho was mine

It was great to sit down and be served an afternoon tea with champagne here, ideal for in between shopping and catching a show as it is so central. This is our second visit. The staff were courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. I'm sure we will be back.

Room Tip: It's advisable to pre-book as the restaurant is not that large.

I was pleased to be able to return to this brilliantly located hotel; around the corner from Oxford Circus and The Palladium and across the road from Liberty. Comfortable bed in room on quiet side of the hotel ensured good night's rest. Well stocked mini bar. Bathroom fine although the white towels and gowns are clearly very well recycled and could do with replacing.

Very well placed hotel for a busy weekend or business stay in central London. I usually stay at teh Millbank Doubletree which is superb, but this one is next door to theatres, shops, restaurants and transport (Tube station 200metres to Oxford Circus & buses 100 metres on Regent Street)
Many attractions are walked to quickly cutting across Regent street down Saville Row to Green Park and Buck Palace. Or cutting down Berwick Street to the Strand etc.
Thhe first room given us though was 301 which is right NEXT TO the lift!. I could hear "door opening" etc every few seconds even though it was the afternoon. I asked to be found an alternative room and was taken to Room 406 which was at the back of the hotel and furthest away from the lift.
Nice rooms, only two teabags though, and having had one on the first day, it was not topped up despite staying three days and paying £178 per night! Shame, as the complimentary cookie given when checking in was very good with tea.
Drinks in the bar on a comfortable sofa cost about £8 each. You could sit in a cell if you wanted to, complete with WC/toilet (not functioning though!!)
It is expensive but the balance to this was that I spent nothing on transport in three days as it's so central.

To find a top quality hotel within walking distance of the West End, for around £150 a night is rare. This one will not disappoint. Opposite the entrance to Carnaby St and the Liberty store, 50m to Regent St and a 100m to Piccadilly Circus you will be pressed to find something better. Comfortable rooms, good staff and a calm atmosphere provides a perfect contrast to the bustle of London

Lovely location and a relaxed atmosphere. The scones were lovely and warm but the sandwiches were a little dry on the edges suggesting they had been out for some time and the cakes were very average. I wouldn't go back.

Location of this hotel is absolutely brilliant. Beds are comfy, wifi expensive and poor coverage. Luckily there are lots of places with free wifi. Did not check hotel's breakfast as there were many alternatives within 100 meters. Staff was very polite and helpful. We requested a quiet room away from street noise and it worked perfectly, got a room facing backyard. As said, the location was great but one might get better bang for a buck somewhere else.
