“Average afternoon tea”

Lovely location and a relaxed atmosphere. The scones were lovely and warm but the sandwiches were a little dry on the edges suggesting they had been out for some time and the cakes were very average. I wouldn't go back.

Location of this hotel is absolutely brilliant. Beds are comfy, wifi expensive and poor coverage. Luckily there are lots of places with free wifi. Did not check hotel's breakfast as there were many alternatives within 100 meters. Staff was very polite and helpful. We requested a quiet room away from street noise and it worked perfectly, got a room facing backyard. As said, the location was great but one might get better bang for a buck somewhere else.

Great location, full of character, and very professional and helpfull staff. we were upgraded to a suite on the first floor (nice touch) which was extremely quiet for London. Breakfast was average but overall very pleased. I did pay the standard rate, which i guess is why we were upgraded.

Room Tip: pay a decent price!

Be very carful when booking this hotel!! I was given a room that I paid for with points that have been given to me by Hilton for waking up head to toe in bed bug bites in the Arc de Triumph Hilton last year, anyhow I though I would treat myself and my friend.
Given a room at back of hotel ( the whole hotel backs onto loading bays for the surrounding shops), we were above a loading bay, which started deliveries at 5 am and hadn't stopped at 9.30. We had no sleep and we were exhausted the next day.
I complained to the reception manager and wanted compensating. She refused and bluntly told me I should have requested a quiet room and that I should have rang them at 5 am and they would have moved us to another room. Because I didn't report it, there was no evidence that this occurred and basically she accused me of lying. She gave us a free breakfast, which we were too exhausted to eat. Never staying here or with Hilton again, always bad experiences for me. Spend your money on a better hotel out of the shopping area and with better customer service!!!!

Room Tip: If u must stay here ask for a room not facing loading bays

Greeted warmly when we arrived . We booked a superior room (508) via Olotels for two nights . Room was spacious with tea/coffee, hairdryer, bathrobes . Towels were hard . Hotel is situated opposite Carnaby Street and Libertys as well as just round the corner from the Palladium . Breakfast was tradittional choice of Full English and Continental. Quirky setting once being an old Magistrates court . Didn't have a dinner there but the choices and prices were comparable to nearby restaurants . The staff were helpful all the way with guidance , booking and room service. Would happily go back there again.

Stayed in feb 2013 for 2 nights. When we arrived at 10am our room was already available. 2 issues with the room (safe and kettle) were fixed immediately.
Location is fantastic, close to Oxford St Tube station, plenty of restaurants and pubs close by.
Free use of internet for printing of vouchers etc, free wifi in lounge area.
Our only compaint was housekeeping, one day room was not cleaned when we returned at 3pm, and they were a bit stingy in refilling products we had already used, but one phone call and they brought extra products to the room.
Not the cheapest hotel in London, but location counts for a lot
