Description: TOZI is a vibrant Italian restaurant and bar specialising in Venetian cicchetti (small plates) and classic Italian cocktails. Inspired by the casual dining ethos of the Veneto region, TOZI puts the emphasis on quality, seasonal ingredients - sourced where possible from the best Italian producers. The all-day menu is served in the restaurant and bar, and is designed to be shared amongst friends, family and colleagues in an informal, welcoming environment. TOZI interiors combine natural materials such as wood, marble, bronze and stone and one-off, hand-picked elements either custom-designed for TOZI or hand-picked from London's best vintage markets. The feel is warm and informal, with vintage Italian prints adorning the walls and a sense of theatre provided by an open kitchen and colourful displays of salami, breads and vegetables.

You certainly get an idea of how child-friendly a restaurant is when you arrive with a pre-schooler asleep in your arms! The staff were wonderful and cooed over him then found us a quiet corner with a sofa for him to stretch out on. We had cocktails as an aperitif as this was a birthday meal for me and the bushy fizz was divine. My other half said the crab linguine was even better than the one he had in Napoli recently which he thought wouldn't be bettered anywhere. The calamari was fab and the artichoke & butternut squash salad was perfect. Lovely service and a special mention goes to the manager who insisted on hailing our cab for us in the pouring rain so we could wait inside with our still-asleep son. Our new favourite restaurant in London (and anywhere else come to think of it). It merits a special trip to London for a return visit.

The truffle ravioli and the Toni spritz are a must!
Love this place, for dinner or just a drink. Excellent Italian food, served in the Venetian tradition of cicchetti.

Tozi is a joy. excellent menu of a myriad of Italian tapas dishes, so many that you want to try its difficult to know where to start! coupled with slick, attentive service and to top it all good value, this really is a must for any foodie. it makes the many of the traditional, overpriced London eateries seem dull and boring in comparison. if I had any criticism the room itself lacks a little charm, but cleverly lighted at night, it was fine. A great table right by the kitchen that seats ten would make a fantastic party. Try it!

I ate here as a group of four, having no real idea of what to expect from 'cichetti' (Italian tapas, basically). Very central location a short walk from Victoria station. We were shown a menu but to be honest didn't bother with it and just asked for 'a nice selection of plates for four people', and I would say they got it absolutely spot on.

The 'starters' (in fact it all blends into one meal, but there is a sort of 'starter/main' feel to it) were basically charcuterie and cheese boards with a heavenly flatbread with gorgonzola. Other plates included a mixed fritti plate (squid, prawns, other unidentified fish!) in a sort of tempura-like light batter. There was a ravioli with truffles which was delicious, and some perfectly rare beef rib with what I think was a crispy rosemary coating.

I'd probably enjoyed too much of the excellent Italian red wine to remember too much about pudding, other than that there was one.

The service was excellent, attentive whilst leaving you to enjoy the food. You get the impression the staff all enjoy working there, whether serving or cooking. Heartily recommended.
