“Breakfast Or Pints...Great Place”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Great library inspired lighthearted decor, amazing big plate breakfasts, free wifi, great place to chill and work or read during afternoons. Gets busier in evenings with events, pints and lots of joviality.

“A Bookish Delight!!”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

Went to the Book Club in Shoreditch for a quick lunch break with colleagues. The atmosphere is typical of Shoreditch, but don't let that put you off.

Quickly and easily found a table and ordered at the bar some drinks and food. We went for a beetroot gnochi, a falafel and spicey aubergine wrap and a very large chicken burger and fries.

The food was served hot and tastey, the drinks cold, the wine crisp and and atmosphere pleasant. Nothing to complain about at all. A very pleasing lunch break indeed. Wouldn't necessarily recommend for an evening meal as the atmosphere is loud and young, but lunch is fantastic.

“Great hangout”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

Great place to meet with friends, have a drink or two and chow down on the bar food. There are ping pong tables if ever there was a competitive need for showing off amongst your peers, and in the summer, The Book Club spills out onto the car park across the way, creating a larger space for outdoor drinkers.

“Brunch w the hipsters”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

This place is like a huge dorm, in a good way. The crowd is young and hip. Food is fine, but nothing particular. A nice place to drink and hang out any time of the day.
