This little restaurant is the real thing - a delicious taste of Tibet located in London! The owner Tenzin helped us order a superb dinner complete with Nepalese wine. The food was absolutely authentic and had a tantalizing blend of spices. Be sure and try momos. Lovely Tibetan decor inside and the food is excellent value for the money.

To find the restaurant. Ride the DLR to the end of the line at Woolrich arsenal stop. If you exit onto Woolrich New Road, the restaurant is a several block walk: 79 Woolwich New Road.

this is the restaurant you wanna go if you wanna try some nepalese food. the food is very authentic (pure nepali style) thenthuk is one of my fav highly recommended if you are soup lover. very friendly staff. i often go with my friends and we usually pay only £70 - £80 for group of 6-7 which is a reasonable price for us. The atmosphere is very good and makes for a lovely evening. Highly recommended .

This restaurant is just lovely. A friend had recommended it a while ago but it was only after a Sunday walk along the Thames which ended in Woolwich that we had a look for it. Its quite centrally located but easy to miss as the front is quite ordinary. Inside it has simple wooden tables and chairs, low lighting, calm atmosphere and a well stocked bar. We ordered buffalo sacuti as a starter which was delicious. The chicken thukpa was good. Feeling greedy we also polished off a plate of steamed lamb momos. All washed down with bottles of Khatmandu beer. The service was efficient considering there was just one woman holding the fort. The meal cost £27 for two. There are plenty of good things to order on the menu and I'm already planning my return.

Meal for 2: £20

Indians will be able to relate with the momos served here. With the perfect spicy sauce to go with it. We tried the chilli chicken and crazy chicken starters which were not well prepared but quite tasty.

Looking at white a few Nepalese people dining with us, I can imagine this is an authentic joint. Looking forward to future visits where I plan on trying the thalis..

We had an average meal and restaurant experience. Starters were ok but small in size and not great for sharing if there's more than two of you.
Mains were well presented but lacking in flavour.
The atmosphere ; very dark busy and very noisy.
We felt it was over priced and the tables are very close together so you feel like your sat with strangers.
