“Fantastic stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

One of the best hotels we have stayed in.
Phillip at reception was so helpful. I would be proud to employee a general manager like him.
All the other staff at reception were helpful also.

We asked at reception about the blinds in our room, as they let light in one night. We were not aware of the blackout blind behind the first set of blinds. When we went back upto the room, the blackout blinds had been drawn. What great service.

There was a small box of expensive chocolates in our room, which were yummy.
The fridge and mini kitchen was great also with a microwave. Well thought of with bowls, spoons etc. The room also had Brita filter tap, which was very handy.

Soho is a great area to stay , very quirky. Lots of funky restaurants within walking distance of hotel

I would recommend that the hotel provides slippers in the room.
We saw Matilda during our stay, which is about a ten minute walk from the hotel.
We hardly used the tube during our two night stay.
We look forward to staying again and may try one of the suites next time.

Room Tip: Small double perfect for one person, for two people choose the standard double.

Hello Flyingkaiser, i am proud to read, once again, how highly our guests think of our staff and Philip, our general manager. Thank you for your thorough and very complimentary review, and we note your recommendation, which we will look into providing in the New Year. The chocolates come from local super-chocolatier Paul A Young, part of our ethos of working with our neighbourhood. When you're thinking of coming back, please call and we will see if the Carlisle Suite is available for you. The view down to Soho Square really lets you know you're in the heart of this brilliant area!

Recently, I visited London and had The London Edition Hotel reviewed and published on tripadvisor. My second night was spent at a very different property, the Nadler, Soho - a Boutique hotel with a difference!

My first impression before I entered the lobby was that of the glorious sculpture, Selene, which is prominently displayed, larger than life, in the centre of the hotel structure. Named for the Greek goddess of the moon, designed by Hew Locke, a talented Scot, born in Edinburgh. Selene represents sleep but with a contemporary twist - that of modern London on offer - entertainment and fashion in the heart of the gay village!

What I loved about my room was the fact that a modern mini-kitchen was at my disposal - microwave, fridge, kettle and utensils - ideal for heating up tea or coffee or even a 'ready meal', if one chooses to buy lunch or dinner at an incredible saving from a nearby supermarket.

As I entered the lobby I was greeted with positive energy and hospitality and welcomed by the reception manager, Drew Northcott. Upon entering my room I observed the cleanliness and
coziness of this delightfully furnished room.

There are 78 rooms in total. It is definitely "affordable luxury", located close to Soho Square the theatre-district and Chinatown.

Who know, you may just bump into the CEO, Robert Nadler or the General Manager, Philip Chambers - both of which are charming and practically always available on property!

Room Tip: Only a few floors - all rooms have a good view and quiet!

The Nadler was a great surprise for us in our honeymoon. We booked the smallest room, nevertheless it was perfect size, we had enough space to move, to put our baggage and to eat and rest very comfortably. The kitchenette was useful and everything was always clean and organized. The bathroom was spotless, new and the shower was easy to manage. We recommend this hotel 100%, the neighborhood is super cool, eclectic and it´s close to all the fun and historic places. We would go back to The Nadler for sure!

Dear Carola V, I'm delighted that our Small Double lived up to expectation as we wouldn't have wanted to disappoint you on your honeymoon - a belated congratulations! As you say, small doesn't mean cramped, and we spent a lot of time designing these rooms so everything would fit in, whilst still giving a sense of space. I am pleased it worked. We hope you come back soon!

Robert Nadler has nailed it. Really good hotel right in the heart of Soho. We stayed one night on 23rd November in a Nadler Deluxe room. Good size room ,nice bathroom and quality fittings-better value than many others in the area

We stayed at The Nadler Soho during our Thanksgiving holiday and we were not disappointed. The location of the hotel is terrific- right in the heart of SOHO. Steps from Soho Square, minutes and seconds from really great restaurants, theater district and very close to 3 main underground stations. We stayed in a King room and for European standards the room was a good size. Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was quite large. We stayed on the 2nd floor and there wasn't much of a view but it's a low rise hotel so I don't think there is going to much of a view from any of the rooms. Soho is rocking on the weekends so we did hear some late night noise from people on the street from time to time but it was nothing that was a big problem. One of the best features of the hotel is the staff. They were so so helpful with restaurant recommendations, transportation, area information. Every single person we encountered that worked there was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable.
If you are looking for a well-priced clean comfortable boutique hotel in a trendy, happening part of London and don't mind that it doesn't have a restaurant or bar, this is a great choice for you. We would return.

Hi Scot T, Once again, thanks for the super mention for our staff. We're very proud of them and they really make the difference. I am pleased you enjoyed Soho. It's the most cosmopolitan area of London, and with the best choice of bars and restaurants. That's why we don't have our own. Why compete when you have everything you could possibly want on your doorstep. Come back soon and try a few more of our friends' establishments!

Huge sigh of relief after knowing that hours of research paid off.

The Nadler Soho was a modern gem with an incredibly friendly and helpful staffed. The location is within walking distance to many city attractions. In addition, major underground/tube stations are very close, providing easy access to all that London has to offers.

The room size was traditionally London sized with plenty of space to move around and be comfortable. The kitchenette came in very handy, especially with the Nespresso machine was an important way to start my day.

There seems to be plenty of security, I think there were 4 room key swipes necessary between entering the hotel to the actual room!

Hello George S, delighted to read that you enjoyed our hotel and the unique facilities we offer, like the mini kitchen with Nespresso machine - did you use water from the Brita tap to make coffee as it tastes even better that way? With touch cards, security is quick and easy and just adds to the feeling of being in a safe environment when you're in the middle of a buzzy city centre. Thanks for the comments on our staff - I think they're on everyone's Xmas list!
