“Excellent Hotel, Excellent Location!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2013 via mobile

My partner and I have just returned from a 3 night stay and this hotel is absolutely perfect and fantastic.

Having travelled overnight on the sleeper train from Scotland, we arrived very early on Monday morning and thought we would go and enquire whether the hotel could keep our bags for us until the 2pm check in. When we arrived at the hotel the lovely member of staff informed us that our room was ready! It was only 9am and already we were amazed at the extra effort the staff had made.

We stayed in the small double room with the bed access only on one side and although some people may find this an inconvenience, the room was perfect for us. Everything in the room was brand new and immaculate, loads of plug sockets, a big tv which was perfect when wanting to relax for a while and a great wardrobe. We made use of the kitchenette, buying some breakfast things from the nearby tesco; saving us some money!

I had read reviews and looked at maps to get a rough idea where the hotel was located before travelling and the location of the hotel was better than I had anticipated. A few minutes walk to oxford street and only 5-10 more to get to Leicester square. This central location meant my partner and I found ourselves able to walk to all of the destinations we wanted to visit which allowed us to discover even more great sights of London.

On our final day, the check out time was 11am and we were not travelling home until 23.50 that night. The thought of carrying our luggage with us all day was a little daunting but as soon as we checked out the member of staff asked if we required storage for our bags - much to our amazement and relief. Furthermore, he informed us that there was no limit to how long our bags could stay and we could collect them at any time.

This trip was both myself and my partner's first trip to London and this fantastic hotel made our experience so much more relaxing and enjoyable. I will most definitely be returning to this hotel in the future and recommending it to all my friends and family.

Hi Heather R, to be described as 'perfect' and 'fantastic' is high praise, and we have a lot to live up to, but we like nothing better than to make our guests's stay are good as it can be! Thank you for your review! I personally really enjoy the cosiness of our Small Doubles, so its good to read you agree! With all the comfort and amenities of our larger rooms (other than Nespresso machines), I believe they really do provide 'affordable luxury'!

The Nadler Soho was a great find - fantastic location, very clean and good service. The room (king) was not large, but pretty typical for London. We received a very warm welcome at check-in and friendly reception coverage throughout our stay. One drawback is that the hotel has no restaurant or bar (so you can't meet friends staying in other rooms there for breakfast), though they are many, many options nearby. We had no problems during our stay and plan to go to the Nadler again on our next trip to London.

Hello expatinprague, the team will be delighted with your review, as am I. Soho is the perfect location for our concept of no restaurant or bar in the hotel, as we explain on our website. We do have a reception lounge area, where many of our guests meet their friends before heading out to enjoy Soho, and our front desk 'local ambassadors' are only too happy to offer guidance and suggestions. They are also there to help plan your stay so when you next book, please call or email us if you'd like us to make any bookings or other arrangements. We look forward to your return!

Wow! What can I say. We had the time of our lives at the Nadler Soho. The General Manager, Philip, was amazing. Upon our early early arrival, Philip assisted in checking us in and made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable by offering us coffee and allowing us early access into an incredibly beautiful room. Philip's attitude and personality was exactly what we needed after coming off such a long flight. We couldn't have asked for anything better! The overall level of service and hospitality was second to none! Absolutely superb! No matter what time of day or evening the personnel at the front desk were ready and willing to accommodate; with in-depth knowledge of the neighborhood they were quick to provide answers to any questions; such as, good restaurants, shopping, directions, entertainment, and general recommendations etc. It is very apparent to us that the general manager's philosophy in management is exemplified throughout his entire staff. This hotel deserves a Five Star Rating in our book!!! As for the hotel itself, impeccably CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Everything is brand new and of the highest quality. We had a fantastic room with awesome decor and an unbelievably comfortable bed. We loved the mini-kitchenette; especially for breakfast time and we can't stress how much we enjoyed the state-of-the-art bathroom. The hotel's central Soho location could not be beat! Everything and we mean everything; great dining, active nightlife, and just London in general is right at the hotel's front door! Absolutely fantastic hotel! We can't wait to return for another visit. This has become our new home away from home when we are in London!

Hi Vermeil2013, your review could not make me happier. Thank you. Great service is at the heart of any good hotel, and Philip leads his young and energetic team by example. I know they read all these reviews avidly, so to see your flattering comments about our service levels, and our hotel's unique features, will just inspire all of the team to want to continue to aim higher. To know that we have exceeded our guests's expectations is the greatest reward we can achieve, so thank you again for your wonderful review.

I can't say enough about the staff and service at The Nadler Soho. And we were able to walk to so many great places from the hotel. Loved it and would highly recommend it. It was a bit tight, but then again, we didn't want to spend hours in our room either when we were in one of our favourite cities!

Room Tip: Room was a little noisy on Saturday night with street noise, but not overly so.

Hello Shelley H, thanks for your lovely review, we are very flattered to be described as a "Wonder gem"! Although we are as central as one can be, as you noted, our particular position means there is generally little if any noise heard, so I am sorry you were disturbed on Saturday night, as this isn't the norm. Please take a look at the different rooms on our website, so when you next plan a visit, you could choose one of our larger room types. If you call the hotel to book, you could specify that you wish to be in an inward facing room that will be very quiet even during Carnival time!

We stayed 2 nights as part of a trip to London as it was in the area we wanted to be.
The hotel is very modern clean and provided almost all we needed.
We had a king sized double room (320) which is fitted with a small kitchenette.
The kitchenette was adequate but lacked a tea towel and washing up liquid though the liquid could be requested at reception.
The wardrobe hanging space had a built in pipe or similar cover which restricted the hanging space by 50%.
We had two minor issues one with the TV and one the aircon both were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Much of London is a building site and this area no exception though we were unlucky to have scaffolding and work directly outside our room.
We would happily stay there again.

Hi jwgNorthants, I am very pleased that you would happily stay with us again as this is the ultimate test. The mini-kitchen has a notice stating that washing up liquid is available from reception and I apologise if it wasn't prominent enough. The reason we don't put any there is we don't want guests to think they are meant to wash up, as our housekeepers do this when they clean the room every day. We want our guests to enjoy London and not do chores!

We were in London for a long weekend and had selected the hotel for a) nice hotel pictures and b) location (near the subway, theater district and favorite hangs).

Arrival and check-in were swift, our credit card was charged upfront and up we went to the room. We had booked a King/ Twin room which turned out to be room 101. It's spacious with windows to an inner courtyard, hence very quiet. The kitchenette is a real treat and the bathroom comes with audio transmission from the TV. WIFI is complimentary.

The next morning I asked for breakfast delivery even though I had forgotten to place my order with the hotel's staff. It was picked up anyway, with an apology that it could not be brought to me immediately. It was there after 10 minutes.

This is just one of the examples of how the hotel's staff went out of its way to make us feel comfortable.

The only downsides are: The blinds still let in a bit of light, which can be annoying for people who enjoy sleeping in. Also, while the rooms are insolated quite well between one and the other, the room door lets in quite a bit of noise (especially by housekeeping's walkie-talkies) which too can be annoying in the morning.

I will definitely be back - already booked the next stay.

Room Tip: Room 101 faces out to an inner courtyard and has sun as well as silence. Perfect.

Hello bleug79, what a amazing description - thank you! We are looking forward to your next visit. Please call ahead if we can make any restaurant reservations or other bookings to make your stay perfect. I apologise for the radio noise - housekeeping has been advised to keep volume levels down as this isn't the standard expected. If you want to try a Soho breakfast next time, there are all sorts of wonderful placesnext door, from smart Quo Vadis, hot Breakfast Club, traditional Star Cafe to super design Princi!

We just came back after a 2 day stay at the Nadler Soho hotel. It was a very nice experience with a very nice and helpfull staff. The hotel is very well located in a quite part of Soho with walking distance to Oxford street, china town most Musical theaters etc
The rooms are a bit small but they very clean and having a standard that is not common in London. There are no restaurang in the notel but it is easy to find a good cafe or restaurant in the heighborhood in Soho. We can really recomend it.

Room Tip: Choose a larger room. The normal rooms are quite small and you can not add an extra bed.
