“a local's paradise”
Reviewed May 10, 2014

This is one of the best curry houses in London. It does brilliant food at great prices. Its a simple setting that focuses on excellent service and wonderful ingredients. As a local you always get a warm greeting and see the same familiar faces. The ability to bring your own drink (alcohol) makes it easy to have excellent wine or beer without paying extortionate mark-ups (there is a Sainsbury's just down the road).

If you want a great curry with friendly service in a simple setting, this is your place.

“A beautiful meal”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

Because I was not used to Indian cuisine, I asked the Manager for advice on the menu. He recommended some beautiful dishes for everyone. Both Manager and assistant were most polite, genuine and friendly. As a result we all had a very pleasant meal and evening. Thank you.

“This place is a gem”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

My wife and I are really lucky to have this place on our doorstep. The food and service are both excellent. We are not surprised that it is so popular with tourists, both those staying locally and from other parts of London - it must be better value and more relaxing than going into town. This area is quite central and relatively safe and the restaurant is just a short walk north of West Kensington tube.

“Fantastic curry”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

Great curry at great prices. This is a true local curry house but should be visited by everyone at any chance they get. Family owned and run which really comes through. Also BYO which is great if you want a good bottle or two with your delicious food!

“Good if you live locally and want a carry out”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

We travelled from the centre of London to visit the Trip Advisor ranked Number 9 of 16,000 restaurants in London - travel to the west side of Earls Court. Whilst the food was fine, it really does not make it to the top 100 in London. No alcohol (collect your Cobra Beer from the Sainsbury down the road); no more than 10 tables; zero decor; poor washroom. On the positive side: food good, but a little bland; service effusive and attentive - the proprietor shook my had 5 times! I wish it was my local "Carry Out" at home, but not something to go out of your way for. Try Khans, Amaya, Veerswamy or go East London.
