I went to dinner with a friend in Crouch End mid week at Bar Esteban and the place was buzzing with energy. We were immediately approached by Lisa one of the owners who informed us there was an hour wait. We put our name down and headed down the road. An hour later we came back and were greeted by a very friendly waiter that suggested a great beer from Barcelona. We ordered the morcilla with quail's eggs and it was delightful. It was topped up by an amazing rabo de toro (ox-tail) which literarily feel off the bone. All in a great dinning experience with amazing authentic service. Bar Esteban is a gem in Crouch End.
