“Closed!”
Reviewed April 14, 2014 via mobile

How can you book a table in the Wednesday and it be closed by the Saturday - well I did!

It would have been handy for the theatre. I recommend you book if eating around 5pm - it is hectic!

“Lovely Surprise”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

The restaurant doesn't really look promising from the outside, but we had booked on the strength of reviews on here and it didn't disappoint. All three of us had delicious meals and the service and value were excellent. We will certainly use '19' again next time we go to a West End theatre!

“Cosy and tasty”
Reviewed November 30, 2013 via mobile

After looking around Covent Garden for a place to dine and relax from the cold, finally found this cozy spot. Two courses for 11 pounds was a great value for the area and my mozarella app and penne with mushrooms were delicious. Would recommend!

“Good food and even better host!”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

My family and I have visited this restaurant twice, both times before heading to see a show as it is so convenient.
The place doesn't look all that special but it is worth a visit! The food is really tasty and very reasonable considering the location. No one had any complaints about the food or wine.
The host (possibly manager?) there is such a lovely man. Very attentive but also charming and extremely welcoming. Very funny too!
I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a decent meal before a show around Covent Garden.

“Really really nice!”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

This lovely restaurant was right opposite The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, making it perfect for us to eat before the show, especially as my mother can't walk very far. Staff were lovely, friendly, polite. Menu had plenty of choice for starters and mains, but only TWO choices for dessert! We felt a little let down by that, but overall the food was very good, hot, tasty, and not too expensive. We would eat here again for sure, well done Nineteen!
