It's all about the food. Ignore the cash-only, byo and the garden furniture; this is the very definition of "pop-up" restaurant so you're not going to get something sterile and faux-oriental. This is the real deal - just as you'd find in major Asian cities, not much to look at, and full focus on food and value. Eat in to get the full experience, but take away is also excellent. Chat to the staff about what to have and how much to order. Enjoy.

A group of us went there towards the end of the night after celebrating a friends birthday in a couple of pubs nearby. They were very friendly and happy for us to come in even though they were closing shortly. In fact one of the waiters said there was no hurry for us to leave and stuck around playing requests on his iPod for us. Very enjoyable and delicious food, would definitely go again when I am in the area.

Having been alerted to this place by a friend who was stunned at the reviews, three of us visited for lunch at the weekend.

It is a nice place to stop for a quick and cheap lunch - not dissimilar to Misato on Wardour Street - and the plus points are value for money, generous portions, and a very casual setting. They do a nice donburi and ramen, and the nigiri are good too.

The downsides are that it is very, very cramped inside, the toilets are a little manky, and you couldn't really spend much time there as it's generally uncomfortable. Plus any place that serves sushi with big dollops of mayo on top automatically loses my vote. While the food was ok in general, nothing particularly stood out.

Overall, worth stopping by if you're in the area but not worth a dedicated trip.
