Popped in on a Monday night and the place had a nice friendly bustle. Opted for the daily specials menu consisting of starter, main, side and sundries for an incredibly reasonable £10 (£12.50 on weekends) and despite it's unassuming appearance was a cut above your average high street Indian. We shall definitely be back to sample more!

I've been eating here for more than 10 years and never had a bad dish. The food is consistently good, cooked to an excellent standard, with changes to the menu with new dishes throughout the year. Mudi is always welcoming and happily to accommodate any special requirements. I'm a huge fan of their Malabar fish and seek it out when I am there. They have a special menu on most weekdays of 3 courses for £12.50 - starter, main, vegetable side and either rice or bread. You just cannot beat this for excellent value. Recently visited in December as a party of 14 for a christmas get together, nothing was too much trouble and we all had a fabulous time. Wonderful :)

We have been eating at 'The spice of Life' for over 20 years; and can truly say the food has always been of an excellent standard. I love the way they constantly introduce new dishes onto the menu, which are beautifully prepared using the finest ingredients.
The staff and service ( led by the ever friendly and affable Moody), are superb.
I might add, that the food is also surprisingly good value, and we have enjoyed every visit.
Highly recommended!

Consistently excellent, and increasingly my favourite. I've introduced lots of friends and family who agree. Love the variety and flexibility on the menu, along with the time taken to explain and enthuse over each dish.
