“Feel like being a smoky steak!”
Reviewed May 5, 2014 via mobile

A MUST-TRIAL
, very famous restaurant in London by Gordon Ramsey at first sight but when you were in there you would feel like being a serloin, smoky steak. When I ordered a rare serloin steak, it came up with a.medium one instead. French fries and side dishes were pretty big and their taste were somewhat plain.

“Excellent service and good food”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

The service was flawless from we entered the restaurant. Nice and welcoming staff. Good information about the different meat types. The only flaw was that they didn't have the ribs my daughter ordered, and had to order something else. Plain food with no fancy garnish.

“Terrible”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

The £40 rib-eye from Cornwall terrible. Had to send it back twice! It still was like a sole, impossible to swallow. My son's £44 fillet steak was ordered medium rear, came back well done. He was so hungry that he actually ate it, I had to leave with only a glass of expensive red wine in my stomach. Huge disappointment! It was better some years ago. Never going back. It deserves Gordon's famous F-word.

“Great breakfast”

Just what you need to start the day! Pleasant surroundings, good staff and tasty food from a good menu. Buffet also available but the a la carte was fine.

“Great, even for the dreaded lone eater”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

I often think restaurant owners should test their staff by sending a woman to eat alone because most places fail miserably and treat you like a leper. Although I was seated at the bar and the bar was not ideal because it isn't big enough to sit under it, everything else was perfect. The food is simply beautiful. The calamari is as good as I have had and very simple. If you haven't eaten pork in the UK you should as it is far superior to anything you get in the US. This place is a winner.
