We had an informative tour of Covent Garden with a lively guide, Viv, who not only had the history of the area at her finger tips but was able to tell compelling stories. These are ghost stories, animal stories and stories of people made more fascinating by her experiences as a homeless person. Viv let us into some of the hidden secrets of the area and took us down interesting side streets. She shared her knowledge in a fun way and her positive outlook was infectious. It is a tour I would highly recommend.

Viv was an excellent guide - giving us insight into both the known history of the area and the unknown recent history of street homelessness. She showed us an ancient Roman Bath tucked away down an alleyway as well as the secret tap used by homeless people under Waterloo Bridge. Entertaining, humorous and knowledgeable, Viv was also very happy to discuss her own experiences on the street in an open generous and fascinating way. She was also full of fascinating stories about the history of the area stretching back to the Middle Ages.

Excellent tour by Viv from sock.mob.org.uk . Viv had spent some years living on the street in the covent garden area . She had an excellent knowledge of the areas ' history and buildings but peppered the talk with her own experiences as a street dweller and the locations her and others slept in ..the issues and vulnerabilities they have to face . The tour therefore had a more personal and intimate feel and made one reflect on ones own good fortune in comparison . The hidden underbelly of London exposed . a fascinating and humorous tour from a warm and vivacious guide .Highly recommended

The walk with Mike around Camden Town was brilliant. He took us places I wouldn't have visited on my own, as it wasn't some of the traditional tourist sites. Mike was a very friendly person who had a lot of interesting knowledge to share. He told us fun facts throughout the tour about the cultural part of Camden Town and the celebrities who lived there. For example, he showed us Daniel Craig's house, which apparently was just next to Primrose Hill! The little fun facts made the tour unique as it offered a new perspective of London. I would recommend the tour to anyone who likes a great experience!

Camden Town Walk with Mike was one of the best tours I've ever joined. Mike told us so many little secrets about this magnific neighbourhood. It really felt like a walk with a good old friend and we were just impressed by his knowledge.

If you re a music lover, don' t miss the Camden Tour!
