Happened here by chance before visiting Spitalfields market and historic walk in the area. Only had breakfast (a delicious white coffee, with professional 'cappuccino-maker' pattern on top, and a fabulous banana cake), but on t he way to the (spotless and fun-decorated) loo, saw a group of young workers preparing buckets (literally!) of fresh fruit salad and preparing other food for lunch. There was a huge selection of savoury snacks, pretty large sizes too. The prices are high-ish, but I was so impressed that on meeting the person I was to tour the area with, I brought her right in to sample the coffee and cakes for herself - she was also very complimentary. The tables are simple - rough wood, but a very friendly atmosphere, and a smiling waitress brings over whatever you order and keeps the tables nice and clean. Will be back!
