Caught the early bird menu after The Shard viewing.
Good attentive and friendly staff.
Nice atmosphere, (apart from the 3 shrieking girls on the next table).
2 of us had the Whitebait with tartare sauce, nice plump and crisp.
i had the Frisse, bacon and warm poached egg salad, hhhhmmm the egg was over cooked, and not drained well the excess water pooled into the bottom of the bowl making the frisse soggy.
2 Steak Frites medium rare - a tad over cooked.
i had the Haddock with pea puree, pea sprouts and bacon lardons, nicely cooked, moist and went well with the minted pea puree.
The lomon sorbet was nice and tangy with bits.
The portions are big but it is an early bird menu 3 cources for £12 ish.
deffinately gonna go back for a more formal meal.
