Succulent steaks and a few tasty side dishes and wonderful staff. This deservedly popular place in an efficient and friendly way. The simplicity works really well, and the design is just right for the concept. We visited for a light Sunday lunch, and loved it. I've been told the bar downstairs is great when it gets busy in the evening, and will have to try it - and the doughnuts.

I had my reservations about this place and thought it might be just a fad but it genuinely is so good! We arrived at 645 on a Friday night and got on the waiting list which was a hour long, there's so many shops and restaurants near this was fine and they give you a buzzer that works up to 400 metres so you are fine to go elsewhere. We came back early to try out the bar which is small but nice enough and they do an amazing strawberry and basil Collins. We were seated on the ground floor it is cafeteria style seating but we were aware of that so not a problem. We had popcorn and water on arrival then each had the steak chips and shared the spinach. The food was so good mine was a little too rare but still amazing and I could have eaten the chips over and over! We finished our meal off with the salted caramel mousse which was so tasty. Such a good place to eat and only cost 35 for two without drinks

What a Little Gem in central London! There is only one thing on the menu! The flat Iron Steak , I had mine medium rare. You can also order fries and a side of vegetable/salad to go with it. I had a side of chips and creamed spinach.
The steak was the most succulant ive ever had. really well cooked. Really enjoyed my meal. The staff were so friendly and helpul , a rarity in London restaurants!
Will definately be going back

Went as a family (2 kids) and at 5.45pm only the ground floor seating was available and the wait was an hour. However, we were told that the upstairs would open at 6, put our name down and given a buzzer! You don't have to wait in the bar as the buzzer works in a 400m range and let's you know if you walk out of range!!

Anyway, buzzed shortly after 6, shown to a round table so didn't have to share. Very friendly and efficient service throughout our meal.

The portions were actually quite good and the steak just melts in your mouth. The selection of sauces is small but Fred's Special and Peppercorn were nice. Sides of chips and salad were ok.

Dessert selection was unfortunate in that handmade doughnuts were only served in the basement bar! So we skipped the brûlée and had the passion fruit doughnuts with a couple of cocktails for the adults:)

The whole experience was a big hit with the kids as well and definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant is exactly what you can expect for the price. I've had way better steak, but not for 10 gbp. The service is noisy and bustling, but then that's the vibe of the whole place. It's not somewhere I will go back to but many will love the atmosphere and be contented with the food.
