“Defies stereotypes with style”

Much more than just meat - there's some inventive and downright exciting flavours and combinations here: salchicha parillera with squid ragu - superb. Starter/racion portions (much more than tapas) so watch how much you order - the cost can run away. Excellent range of Argentine wine - on the pricey side but no doubting the quality. Very friendly and efficient service and an intimate, buzzy atmosphere in a fairly narrow rooms up and downstairs. Very enjoyable experience - nice one.

“A little gem”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

My girlfriend and I Stubbled upon this lovely little resturant after a hard days shopping. The Manager was so lovely and hospitable, offering us chairs at the bar, where we could watch the chiefs cooking. The waiter explained the menu with enthusiasm and knowledge. We watched the chiefs prepare the dishes and the chief/owner talked us through the dishes while cooking. The food was delicious, and ideal for sharing. The owner was so friendly. The astmosphere was warm and cosy. I will definitely be returning and telling my friends about this wonderful place.

“Cosy, friendly and great food too.”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

Lovely Argentinean tapas style restaurant. Food was different, well presented and tasted great too. Really friendly, attentive staff. Felt like a little cost place near home given its just around the corner from Oxford St. Great place to try lots of flavours with friends.

“A very pleasant surprise”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

we actually visited this restaurant with a fellow reviewer and were really pleased that we did! \Really enjoyed the empanadas, and then went on to have the pork belly, crab and flank steak which was delicious! Absolutely loved the provenzal chips, lovely crisp and garlicky! I do agree that the milk cake doesn't need the ice cream though, I found it a bit tart. The service was excellent although we should have asked for the meat and fish dishes together. We had the cheapest bottle of red wine and it was lovely. All in all not a cheap meal but the bill was not a shock and I was full when we left. Nice buzzy atmosphere but not too loud so you could have a good old gossip! Would defiantly visit again, loved trying something different.

“absolutely delicious”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

We have just been to Zoilo after a friend recommended it to us. it was one of the best dinners we have had in a while. All their dishes are small to medium size which means you can try a good variety. From scallops over pork belly to sweetbreads, it was gorgeous! All staff are very nice and our waiter Matt (?) was lovely and gave good recommendations. We will definitely be back!
