Excellent wine list. Good steak cuts, professionally grilled. Friendly owner, relaxing and neat environment. We had rib eye steak mid rare, delicious nature without any sauce is probably best.

“Great steaks, great ambience, great beginning”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

The Glass Dome has just opened on half the site that was occupied by Due Fratelli who have downsized. The restaurant itself is nicely furnished, the bar in the entrance particularly inviting. The owner told us of his Argentine and Brazilian family who cook and run the restaurant, so we were looking forward to a genuine interpretation of the Argentine beef steaks on the menu.
Starters were cod croquettes and prawns with avocado & sesame filo wafers. The croquettes were so obviously home made and were delicious, the spicy accompanying sauce particularly so. The shrimp was perfect. Then the steaks. Argentine beef has a flavour of its own, and the chef grilled them to perfection. The chimichurri sauce was perfect. And just as we were mellowing with samples from the very decent wine list, the jazz pianist started and began to round off a very pleasant evening. For dessert I had the pear tartin with almond, which - pity - did not live up to the mains and needs work, it's far too sweet.
I liked the place and have put this on my list of neighbourhood restaurants. It's a brave family that embarks on a new venture like this at a time such as this, but they've got the quality/price ratio just right and if they keep up the quality, friendliness and the jazz pianist, deserve to succeed.
I'll be back, with my friends, and more family as well!
