“Great place”

Really enjoyed my stay, best hostel for the money I have stayed in. Its great the rooms and bathrooms are cleaned properly. Liked communal area. clean - Ill definitely be back. The location was perfect and really cheap food in the area.It was great to have a kitchen area which some hostels don't have. I wouldn't stay any where else now in London.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to write us a review. You positive words are really appreciated. We are fortunate to be surrounded by such cheap places to eat and we're glad you found them good. Take care and we hope to see you again.

This is a very nice and relaxed place to stay. There is off course always a few issues, like the smell when you enter the hostel, but as it is only the entrance, it's not an issue. Very nice and friendly staff.

Unfortunately the room service is nonexistent and the fitness center consists in carrying your own bags up the stairs.
The staff sometimes make some confusion with bookings, so my second night I found a naked model laying on my bed! Besides that, they're very helpful.
The showers and the bathrooms may not work from time to time but the plumber passes by very often spending more time at the hostel than many guests.
Location is awesome, you can feel the vibration from the West Ham Stadium, literally.
Shops and food around are very cheap, so is the beer from the pub downstairs, where you can see the cast of Trainspotting playing snooker live.
East End rules, the City is for tourists.

That room service you mention we lacked; well that naked body you found in your bed was the staff going that extra mile for you! Sorry we didn't make that clear to you that. Just to let you know, Begbie is wanting that drink you owe him. Last I heard he headed back up to Edinburgh looking for you. Take care and we hope to see you again.

I found this place as a consequent to not finding a hostel in London Bridge. Although I was lucky. Cause it is cheaper than; and (at least) as good as the others. The toilets are clean, the kitchen(lounge) is clean, rooms are clean. Also kitchen is a good communal area to communicate people. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'll reccomend this place to my friends who will come to London

This is a very nice and relaxed place to stay and I am happy I had the chance, even though I am "a bit" passed the age limit.

There is off course always a few issues, like the smell when you enter the hostel, but as it is only the entrance, it's not an issue.

It would be nice with a few more showers, but on the other hand: the showers and bathrooms are so much better than in other hostel, so it is worth waiting for.

Nice kitchen and commom room.

Really good Internet access and it is in the all the rooms and included in the price.

Very nice and friendly staff.

The female dorms are definitely recommendable.

Room Tip: Bit noise from traffic late evenings and early morning - bring ear plugs if you like to sleep late i...

I liked the hostel. It is very cheap. I stayed there for only 8 pond a night!!.
The rooms are oke for what you pay. The batrooms are very clean. And if you did not sleep well because of somewhone else his snoring and farting, you get another room. People working there were very frently.
The only negative point i can think of is that it is in a less good neighborhood. But on the other hand you can get a hamburger and fries for only 1 pound in that street.
