There is no much choice for breakfast. The room is small. When we received our room the bathroom was partially clogged and smells we had to call them to fix it. The bathroom is quite small you will pump into the walls. Its in a quiet zone of the city but if there is something a bit loud outside you can hear it nice and clear even though I was on the 7th floor. The ironing is available only in a small room on the 5th floor.
The price was cheaper compared with what I searched at the timeline of my staying with my standards of search.

We arrived after 3.30pm, our room wasn’t ready and apparently there were two other couples waiting so we opted to return after a drink and a walk. Check in team were happy to store our luggage though. On our return we were told we had an upgraded room allocated to us. I’m not sure what the upgrade was as we already paid extra for a city view and the room was very basic, small, plastic pod bathroom in the corner, the air conditioning only worked properly by the door, definitely no frills. Single use plastic covered plastic beakers in the bathroom. The room was clean.

Breakfast was chaos, had to wait for a table on both mornings and one day they ran out of cutlery. The food wasn’t great so only ate toast and fruit on the second morning. At one point some staff were virtually running to keep up with table clearing/ food replenishment in order to keep up with the number of guests.

Just less than £200 for one of the nights we stayed; very budget room and service. I’ve stayed in London for far less cost at other budget hotels. Location was good though, right next to Blackfriars tube station and the river with some good bars and eateries nearby.

Sadly we won’t be returning.

Stayed over the weekend whilst using the tube to get to a party in the east of London. Brilliant location so close to tube and Waterloo. Nice safe area, lots of pubs, eateries. The hotel itself is modern, staff at check in are efficient even when busy. We pre checked in and paid for the early check in as we arrived in London in the morning, and yes our key was ready on arrival. Our room had an OPENING WINDOW (well part opening because of the safety restrictor) which was brilliant as I hate air con. It was extremely clean, and the shower/washroom was too. The room overlooked a quiet side street, so guaranteed a great nights sleep. We had paid for breakfast which was great. Lots to choose from and constantly being checked and replenished by hardworking staff. The fact you can stay till 12 in the room is also recommended after a night out. The only niggle I had was the bar wasn't open at 11am when we arrived as we fancied a drink before heading out - they are still serving breakfast then so you can kind of understand that. Never mind, there is a very decent pub over the road at that time! We will defo be back when visiting London next for all the reasons above, but mainly for location as lots of tourist places are within walking distance.

I stay at Ibis Blackfriars only for one night, the check-in was good, the room was as usual at Ibis, the breakfast above average and the check-out fantastic. Good option for staying in London. Excelent breakfast.

I had a perfect stay at Ibis Blackfriars.
I was traveling with my wife around Europe and our stay at Ibis was the best.
Breakfast was really delicious, there was small problem with the queue to have a place to sit, but it worth to wait a bit longer to eat that good breakfast and drink nice coffee - Arturo and Barbara were really friendly.

Check in and check out was super fast and stuff really helpful.
The most helpful was Alicia and Victor - they gave us positive energy everyday, and they helped us with ours requests.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location of the hotel is brilliant, next to the tube station.
