We stayed here for four nights as we wanted to be convenient to stops on the jubilee underground line. The hotel is very close to Southwark tube station. The reception staff were most welcoming and friendly. Bedrooms were spacious and functional, all open plan, no wardrobe doors or drawers, just shelving, but very practical. The toilet shower area was modular design and very clean. We were on the 12th floor but the lifts were speedy and we never seemed to be kept waiting. I remarked on each morning how quite it was, we could have been staying out in the country instead of in the middle of a large city, perfect for a good nights sleep. We had breakfast here one morning and again have no complaints. There are a few restaurants/coffee bars just around the corner in The Cut. We shared a pizza on two evenings which was perfect for a light snack to go with a pint or a glass of wine. As we had to travel out to Canary Wharf, this was a perfect location to be able to get there fast and also be close to Central London, which is really only a short walk away if the weather is fine over any of the three bridges nearby. This could be a place that I could return to if I needed to visit the Southwark or Canary Wharf areas again
