Searched online for a Mexican while on a day out in London, and came up with this place. We weren't disappointed. It was a busy Saturday evening but we were able to get a table for two straight away. The restaurant was buzzing, and our waitress (Aga or similar) was very friendly, and helped us choose our food. Cocktails were reasonably priced too. We went for the tapas-style selection of dishes - they came very quickly, which was the only moan, that they were probably sat there waiting to be sent out before we'd even ordered.

Very close to Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road tubes. Charlotte Street in general is full of lovely looking eateries. Highly recommended.

Went with friends early evening and the place buzzing (as was the area, great vibekee). Nice atmosphere and attentive staff, without them being obtrusive. We went for the street food sharing option which was great as we covered a fair proportion of the menu. Nicely cooked food although less spicy than expected. Very good value, even with cocktails on the bill. Would definitely go back.

The best restaurant in London? Wahaca! For cheap and cheerful, for great taste, amazing atmosphere and very friendly service, even after 6 years of opening, this is the best place to visit in London.
Only downside, it gets full very very quickly and they don't take bookings, but your patience will be rewarded!
You can alway chill out and wait for your table in the beautiful tequila bar upstairs.

Enjoy!

But would certainly go again. The Charlotte Street restaurant welcomed us in on a warn summer's evening. The whole of the front of the restaurant opens up to make it feel like you really are eating on the street. We had a wait for 30 mins but were sent up stairs to an atmospheric bar, where we had drinks and nibbles to keep those that don't like wating happy. We were told 30 mins, and at 29 mins we had a buzz on our buzzer and were seated at the table.
This is a very sociable way of eating, the tapas type seletions were well presented, fresh and beautiful. The waiter told us when we were ordering too much food, which he didn't need to do, but was absolutely right, even for those of us with huge appetites. We went for a sharing platter for 2 (between 4 of us) so that we could taste a selection of foods, and then ordered main courses each. Plenty of food, good sevice, amazing atmosphere, and had we cut back on the tequillas, would only have cost us about £15 per person, which is amazing in central London... can't wait till the next time...

Great location and always busy. The food is great and just the right portions... The street food is the best to pick and share different dishes. The staff are attentive even though it's a busy restaurant. Must try the churros with chocolate dipping sauce.... these are devine!
