Great idea but the clues were just a bit too hard for the girls to escape. It is recommended that an adult attends too. Nm

It was a family birthday treat to do the detective agency room. 2 adults and 2 10 year olds. There were lots of things to work out, we didn't do it in the time but the clues helped us along. It was a really fun way to spend an hour together and we all loved it!

Our first experience with an escape room game turned out to be an exciting and brilliantly fun hour. The group of five managed to get out just in time after solving a series of puzzles in the Zen room. Can recommend the HintHunt for any group of 3 to 5 people looking for a good way to spend an hour in London.

We visited as a family of five adults. You go into a sparsely furnished room, with very little by way of instructions. As this was our first experience of an escape room, it took us a while to make sense of what we were doing. Once we got on a roll, it became more fun, although we did need a number of hints from the control room. I doubt that any group would succeed without a few hints.

This would not be suitable for children. It requires a level of thought that would be above anyone younger than mid teen age. I would also say that small groups would struggle - it needs as many minds as possible to solve the puzzles.

We needed an extra couple of minutes to successfully escape.

This was an absolutely brilliant way to spend an hour with good friends.
The staff member, Micheal was friendly, concise and great fun as he explained our mission on the”Zen Room” - an hour to find five ancient artefacts and escape - I’m not going to say ant more - JUST GO, IT’S BRILLIANT!!!

Arrived for a late session, loads of staff still on hand to get everyone ready. When the previous players had left, two groups were taken through to different rooms and given the rules and off we went.

The puzzle we played through was interesting and challenging in places with hints and clues being readily available but very solveable with the clues so long as you could work together.

Fun addition to our night at an extremely reasonable price.

We attended Hint Hunt with friends and gave it a go doing the JM Office escape room in August 2018. The place is very easy to find from Euston station, and easy to spot in the street. Upon arrival the staff were lovely, very accommodating, and they have restroom facilities (perfect after a long journey!). We were introduced to our gamesmaster Hunter. It was his last day. He was really fun, gave us lots of information setting the scene for the game. He was really friendly too, which is always nice! We have completed the Zen room before, so tried something new, more of a murder mystery type. Our friends all got really into it, and we worked together, not needing many clues, plus we managed to get out with 12 minutes to spare! So we were really chuffed! Everyone really loved the time spent there, doing something different! Experiencing something practical, rather than staring at our bloody phones! We had a really good laugh with Hunter, and wish him the best in his new venture :) I would definitely recommend Hint Hunt at Eversholt Street. Bloody good fun!

We went to HintHunt with 2 groups of 10 and split into 2 rooms. There were adults and 4 tweens and 7 and a 6 year old. It was very challenging and we all had to work together. The tweens loved it and the small ones were surprisingly helpful! We will definitely do it again.

I went with extended family with children ranging from 5 up to 11 yrs old. 2 teams did the Zen room and 1 team did JM's Office. All the children & adults found it a fun challenge (though the level of difficulty seemed to be higher in JM's Office) with 2 out of 3 teams escaping in the nick of time. For the youngest it was a bit over her head, but there were simpler tasks to keep her involved amongst our pandemonium! The team at HintHunt were very friendly and accommodating and the room themes were interesting & fun. Overall it was a great experience which we will all agreed we will do again.
