This is where it all happened back in July and August 2012. An amazing venue and stadium. If you can, go and do a tour and see around the whole venue with a trip up the Orbit.

My family and I were so so lucky to get tickets for the London Olympics 2012. It was one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. We went there when Jessica Ennis did her first heat, which was amazing to get so close to the most talented athletes in the whole world. The atmosphere was electric and the TV screens were fantastic to see the events that were at the other end of the stadium. I just wish I could go back there right now to do the whole thing again!

One of the best stadiums I have been to thus far. Excellent marking of entry and parts of interest within the stadium. The new rail link gives an added bonus to public transport choices.

We had to go - born in London, lived here all of my life, married here, 4 kids born here, how could I not then go to a London Olympics? Just gutted didn't get to the opening ceremony or that I wasn't there on Super Saturday which on TV was amazing - went on the day Oscar Pistorius was running in one of the relay heats! This of course was all before the sad girlfriend business... Atmosphere was just amazing and the stadium made me so proud to be a Londoner - glad I missed George Michael day though - seen him twice live elsewhere and the Olympics was just unusually poor from him I think.

The header says it all. Was very disappointed when I arrived after a 40 min ride with the metro, just to find out that there was a large fence around the whole site.

Was able to take some photos but the place was like a giant construction site with machines and workers everywhere.

Can not recommend anyone to waste time and money on going there.
