After almost an hour of on line queueing we struck lucky and got tickets for closing ceremony for last summers olympics and only just had time now to review! Have always wanted to see Georgie Micheal live, but been unlucky with tickets, sadly this was the disappointment of the night along with the Spice Girls, although their production was good. So much talent and excitement and so many brilliant performances in lovely, lovely London in summer. I feel great pride in having such an incredible stadium so close to home and the venue is absolutely superb. Truly a legacy!

We were lucky to get tickets for the anniversary games event at the Olympic Stadium and yet again it did not disappoint.

It was nostalgic being back in the Olympic Park one year on from London 2012, although sadly the park is currently in the middle of extensive remodelling to convert it.

Never mind though, we were there to watch the amazing para-athletes and they were just as incredible. Five new world records were set with David Wier as the finale.

I hope this anniversary games can be an annual event, and I especially hope that the stadium becomes the spiritual home for Para-athletics. I think 65,000 other people who attended on the Sunday would agree!!

Having been fortunate to go to 4 sessions last year and to this years Anniversary Games I feel so attached to this theatre of dreams. Sad it will never be same again - the greatest site of the UK's sporting heros!

My first visit to the 'Olympic' stadium to see an IAAF athletics meeting with 80,000 others! It's an amazing venue, which 'came alive' with the introduction of Usain Bolt in the 100m final. Shame it's going to be 'reduced' in size for 'everyday' football.

We went to the stadium on 27th July to see the games - it hardly seemed a full year since we were last there! The athletes were superb and it was brilliant to watch Mo Farrar win the 3000 metres and Christine Ohorohugh (probably spelt that wrong) putting in a world class performance. The atmosphere was electric and everybody was in high spirits. A fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
