Description: A stylish Italian dining retreat in Westminster, Gustoso Ristorante and Enoteca is the sister restaurant of Al Duca and Osteria dell'Angolo in London. A diverse selection of dishes prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients are served up on the menu, with popular choices including deep fried squid with N'duja and roasted peppers, Tagliolini with Cornish crab sweet chilli and garlic, slow cooked pork belly with apple sauce and sauteed broccoli, and our delicious Tiramisu. The bar is an ideal place for a pre-dinner aperitif, or a relaxed after-work drink with colleagues.

Much of the food was good in the sense that this appeared to be a family run Italian restaurant of the classis type. Very full restaurant. Service attentive and quick. Two Carpaccios. Classic and good. Steak good but ravioli tasteless. Lady at table next door said the same but she said that normally it was lovely. So the end result was a disappointing dinner. It was supposed to be a treat. They took the ravioli off the bill. Thank you but it spoilt the dinner. How can you serve something so totally bland as a main course. Everything else a good 7/10. Nothing special but pretty much what it said on the tin. Wines too dear by about £10 a bottle for what they were. Barbara d'Alba should be £30 max not £45. So we won't go again and would recommend that unless this is your local Italian, that you don't go here either. We could have found somewhere better. Sorry.

Our starters included: the friend calamari and zucchini--which was excellent--very little breading and fried to perfection; the Carpaccio--which had a generous amount of parmesan and rucola; and the burrata, tomatoes, and grilled zucchini—a little disappointing as the burrata was too cold and the tomatoes a little green.
Our main course selections were the tagliata (OK cut of meat but cooked perfectly); pasta with crab and chili (good crab taste and not overwhelmed by the chili); and the chicken (perfectly cooked with great seasoning).

Gustoso Ristorante & Enoteca is like Sardinia itself - an isle of joy full of great things to eat & drink. In Gustoso’s case an island of consistently fabulous food and wine much needed in an SW1 ocean bare of decent restaurants - business accounts seemingly not caring for them!
It’s also fabulously affordable - no need to rely on expenses here. The early evening set menu is a delicious delight - a generous serving of mozzarella, and ripe plump plum tomatoes served at perfect room temperature to allow their heady flavours to shine, followed by perfectly grilled swordfish - meaty, moist and treated with respect.
My partner’s taglioni al granchio smelt amazing due to the mass of crab within it - no stinting with ingredients here however high their quality. I must order it next visit - which is sure to be soon! whilst the calamari and zucchini fritti were splendid steamed within the lightest of crisp coasting.
Make sure to have the bread basket too - a grand selection including cracking carta di musica (excuse my pun).
The service is a warm and friendly as the splendid food makes one feel, whilst the wine list has something for all.
Highly recommended and obviously going from strength to strength - grazie mille to all involved!

I met a small group of friends for a lovely meal in this friendly restaurant. We all had the lunch set menu which we found excellent value and delicious food. The bread basket is to be particularly recommended!
The waiters were helpful and left us to chat as long as we wanted between courses but were attentive when we wanted anything.

We would all happily go back to this lovely little restaurant. it is really well placed only 5 minutes walk or so from Victoria.

Heard great things. Went with friends from work. Sat in the back (which soon became very hot) on a plastic seat (which I got stuck to). Starter (squid) greasy but ok. Main course of pork belly was awful: bland, chewy, with rubber crackling. Avoid. I would have complained, but just wanted to leave.
