The four of us really enjoyed our meal. The tapas were tasty, modern and really well presented. Everyone on the tables nearby were welcoming each dish. We particularly enjoyed the red wine. The owners have a special interest in wine and it certainly showed. The service was very attentive which was brilliant bearing in mind that the place was so busy. The vibe was excellent.

When we arrived there were only a couple of tables full so we were surprised to be offered seats at the bar but this was definitely the best choice. Here we could observe the chefs creating each individual dish and chat to other diners at the bar. I love tapas as its such a relaxed meal, you have as much as you fancy with no pressure on ordering masses at any one time and order another dish when you are ready.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, its origin and the inspiration - Donostia/San Sebastian which is close to our hearts. Since visiting the restaurant we've reviewed its blog which in itself is very interesting - the team visited San Sebastian to experience its tapas - hence how knowledgeable they were. They also try to source traditional Spanish ingredients.

The food was delicious, we opted for pan con tomate (like bruchetta), tempura prawns with mango, charcuterie selection, scallops with butternut squash puree, a perfect tortilla and patatas bravas. Can't fault the delicious food, all freshly created. This was accompanied by Txakoli - a harsh basque wine which is poured from a height to create the fizz!

We'll definitely be going back!

Great place, amazing food, great staff, simply great! With a concept of small portions to share, each one was a marvelous experience to discover. The taste is beyond any tapas we had had in london. Great for couple diner.

I love this little place so much, great north spanish food - you have to book to ensure a table, but its worth it! I love the fact that the owners are always there and they are so hands on!
I hope they bring back the bacalao tortilla, we missed it!

A great little tapas restaurant with a local feel. We decided to pop in one evening whilst in the area and did not have a reservation so sat at the bar to eat.

Service was friendly, efficient and helpful - great selections of wines and tapas dishes. All dishes tasted freshly prepared and would definitely go back to try more of the menu!!!

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived so would recommend making a reservation in advance if possible although dining at the bar was fine.
