This is NOT a hotel, it is a bare-bones backpacker's hostel located in a very dodgy neighborhood. The sink and shower are IN THE ROOM; the toilet is in a small closet with a thin door that does not close properly, and a light that goes out after 30 seconds. There was one tiny piece of soap - the size of a piece of bubble gum - the thinnest towel I have ever seen, and black mold on the floor under the tiny sink. No closet, just a stick with 5 hangers. My room looked out on a mosque & minaret with a loudspeaker for a call to prayer five time a day, so sleep was difficult. The Wi-Fi went out and the staff had no idea how to get it back. I had to walk a half mile to find any sort of place to have a decent meal. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable and left as soon as I could book another hotel.

Room Tip: If you are so unlucky as to be forced to stay here, request a room on the side away from the mosque...

London is an expensive city, and This hotel has good services, simple but good breakfest and it's close to the tube station. The room isn't big, but it's modern and confortable. I'll came back to This hotel.

We needed a cheap and cheerful place to stay while on a one night trip to London. After searching for hours for different places we eventually settled on Ibis, Whitechapel.

Hotel appears to be relatively new and is in good condition. The room was smallish, but very clean.

Only complaint was the design of the room. It had a cubicle bathroom with a sink and shower in the room beside the bed. Was a bit clinical but considering we were only in there to sleep and spent most of our time pt and about it didn't really cause any problems.

There is a tube station only a couple of mins walk away and Liverpool Street Station is a 6 black cab ride away.

Just a P.S...we asked reception to call a taxi for us to get to Liverpool Station after we checked out. It cost 12, double what it cost us to get there (in black cab) so would not recommend anyone to do that!!
