We started a two week three country European vacation at Rhodes Avenue Homestay and we couldn't think of a better place to start our vacation. While we enjoyed all the places we stayed, none compared to this B & B. Eli and Haya are extremely warm and welcoming, always there to offer us excellent suggestions in planning our day. The breakfasts were fantastic and we looked forward to seeing what would be on the table every morning. We actually had hot cross buns one day! Fantastic!
Everything was first rate from the fruit, cheeses, fresh juice, breads and eggs. The best breakfast we ever had. Every day! We enjoyed coming back at the end of the day and speaking to Eli and Haya about what we did and what we were planning for the next day. We really felt like we were staying with family. This is not just a business for Elli and Haya. They truly like people and commit so much of their time and their beautiful home. We loved having the pantry with teas and biscuits at our disposal as well. We were sad to leave and feel lucky to have had the experience at this excellent B & B! If we ever have the good fortune to return to London, we would absolutely stay there again.

Super stay at Rhodes Avenue made all the more enjoyable by the fantastic showers, delicious breakfasts and never ending hospitality of the owners, Elli and Haya. I would recommend Rhodes Avenue to everyone.

Room Tip: Both rooms are lovely. Quieter room with a garden view at the back of the B&B preferred.

Early May we stayed 4 nights in the Rhodes Avenue Homestay B&B. It was a very pleasant stay.
Elli and Haya provided a very warm welcome and made us feel at home right from the moment of arrival. Very friendly and very helpful in finding places to go and to eat.
The breakfast was excellent, with eggs any way you want, freshly baked bread and daily fresh fruit. The rooms are comfortable, with beds also suitable for persons of about 1.90 m in height. The bathroom are spotless and equipped with fine showers.
The B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood on walking distance from bus stop and tube station. Like visiting friends, Elli and Haya not only open up their house to you but also their hearts.
Highly recommended!

When we began to plan our trip to London, we found the Rhodes Avenue Homestay B&B listing on TripAdvisor and were sold due to the reviews we were reading.

All I can say is wow, not only were the reviews right on the mark, they don't go nearly far enough to explain how special a place Rhodes Ave is.

Elli and Haya have turned their home into a place where travellers can rest their feet (lot's of walking in London) but also feed their soul.

There was not a single thing that I would say needs improving. The food, the lodging, the shower and the host and hostess were absolutely top notch.

Do yourself a favor ... skip the big chain hotels and stay with Elli and Haya. You will not regret the decision as they will make your stay in London unforgettable.

We stayed in Rhode Avenue for 4 nights in April.
The place is immaculate, we stayed in room 1, which is smaller than the other room but has a nice view of the garden and a very comfortable bathroom attached, with an excellent shower. The room is nicely decorated and the bed is good, the only flaw is that the bathroom used by the other guests has a thin common wall with our room so you may have a problem if you are a light sleeper. Elli and Haya are very helpful and their recommendations for places to visit were excellent. The breakfast room is downstairs and very well equipped, for the use of the guests all day. The breakfast is generous, eggs made to order, freshly baked bread and more. The neighborhood is quiet, with shops and a pub 2 minutes away. Transportation is easy with the oyster card provided by Elli, and the buses to the tube station are very frequent. Alexandra Palace is just a short walk from the house.

If you are looking for an immaculately clean and aesthetically furbished place run by warm, friendly, welcoming hosts, then you must stay with Elli and Haya. The two rooms are spacious, equipped with everything you possibly need (hairdryer, adapters, lots of space for clothes, additional chairs and also fresh flowers!) and lovingly decorated - as is the complete house. We are just about to return for the third time (spending another week with these two interesting and interested people. All in all: Perfect breakfast with everything you like to start your day with (fresh fruits, eggs in any 'condition' and plenty of time), wonderful bathrooms, oyster cards to make travel easy and cheaper, nice area and hosts who do everything to make you feel welcome (and make you want to return)! Thank you and see you soon! Bianka&Georg

I was a single girl traveling from Isle of Man to London. I was greeted with warmth and a great cup of tea. The area is residential with little shops and eateries just around the corner. This was perfect because I did not have a car nor was I going to attempt driving on the left side of the road. A short walk up a hill is a great view of London from Alexandra Palace. The cherry blossoms were in bloom. A 10-15 minute walk to the tube.Highly recommend taking the tube for all your London sites. Breakfast was outstanding. I enjoyed a spacious, comfortable room. Great fast internet. And last but not least, hosts Elli & Haya are warm, gracious and so knowledgeable. They made my visit to London easy and enjoyable. Would come again and again
