The weather was pretty terrible the day we went up to the O2, which made the climb a little more treacherous but for us I think that added to the experience. Good fun, not for the faint hearted or notably unfit. There are however, much better views of London so if that's your main incentive - I would recommend moving further into the city (the shard or the eye for instance).

id sorted day trip to London and was on website looking at doing something else at The O2 when i came across this. As soon as i read it i booked for me and my 14yr old son to do! We got there to find we were the only ones there! Callum was our guide for the climb. He was helpful, knowledgeable and patient and made the experience relaxed and enjoyable, As for the climbing once you got the hang of the equipment and how to walk it was a breeze! i would highly recommend this to everyone visiting London or even those who live there! Thoroughly enjoyed and would definately do again!!! 12/5/13

Hi lovitydruk, thanks for your review. We'd definitely recommend you come back for a sunset climb next time. London is even better lit up in the evening!

We did the climb yesterday, it's really enjoyable but I don't think they make it enough before you book of how strenuous the first and last parts are. Us four are in our early 50's and reasonably fit so we were ok but if you have a bad back or knees you might struggle and end up with an injury. A couple of tips - the website says they provide gloves, they don't, probably because you need to be able to slide your harness clip thingy over the bolts and you need full dexterity. If you take your own they need to be tight fitting. Don't bother taking trainers as they prefer you to wear the climbing shoes they provide. All in all, if you are fit and not scared of heights it's a good value little adventure!

We booked this as a surprise for our 10 yr old sons birthday bank holiday Monday the weather was glorious on arrival we had our briefing and togged up in our safety equipment our guide altho enthusiastic was monopolized by 1 lady all the way up and down although i sympathise with her fear i felt everyone else was left to their own devices quite disappointing when you expect dome kind of talk on the way up regarding sights and sounds around you apart from that i would say kids 10 and over will love it deformed worthwhile on a sunny day!
