Description: A large, bustling Parisian brasserie transported to the heart of London. Open throughout the day, offering great value with remarkably low prices, its glorious, historic Art Deco interiors also play host to a 'Bar Americain', 'The Crazy Coqs', a live music and cabaret venue and ZL Cafe.

Great Menu, fantastic prices, and a stunning if huge room. The place is always buzzing but they always manage to fit you in. The staff seem to be having fun which makes for a good atmosphere. Tables are a bit close together for a private talk, but it is a small price to pay for such a good value meal.

Beautiful, huge dining room a few flights under Picadilly Circus. It felt like being in Paris in the 1920's - decor was authentic and tasteful, and the food was wonderful, and for London, quite reasonably priced.

I dined with my 2 young children, and the staff could not haven been more wonderful and accommodating. If you like to eat at wonderful restaurants while traveling with kids and not feel like you are bothering everyone around you, this place is perfect!

It may be inexpensive but food is tasteless and very small portions its little wonder they have lower prices. It's a large cavernous room albeit with lots of old fashioned bling. Second visit did nothing to change my mind that its a tourist spot giving poor value with very exciting looking dishes when reading the menu but just does not deliver on quality or taste. Not for me thanks. So many more authentic Brasserie available.

My third time of visiting Zedel, but my friends' first time for all of them.

Lovely surroundings, attentive waiting staff and no piped music. Wonderful. Plus the 5 of us were given a round table - which makes it so much easier for everyone to join in the conversation than a rectangle. Four of us chose the salmon, one person whitebait. We were all pleased with our meals.

I've marked Zedel only 'very good' because its discounted Fixed Price menu still has the boring steak hache as the main course. Why not vary the main? Also, after booking we were asked tio vacate the table by 8.00pm. I negotiated for 8.30pm and in fairness we would have left about then anyway and we weren't put under pressure to leave.

Ladies loo clean and well stocked with paper, soap etc.

We had lunch here last week for the first time. Fabulous decor, charming staff and really good food. The atmosphere is bustling and busy in a good way - full of happy diners. What marks this restaurant out is the excellent value fixed price lunch menu. High quality French bistro food, in a very central location for a fair price. We weren't in a rush but others near us were and they were served professionally and efficiently. We overheard them thanking the waiter for looking after them so well as they were leaving. We will definitely be back. Recommended.
