We went for an early evening supper and the restaurant was quiet - the only other table occupied when we arrived was a Vietnamese family - so that was reassuring. If visiting Vietnamese liked it, it was probably going to be good - and it was. The service was quick and friendly, and the waiter was very helpful with advice and suggestions. The food was excellent - the creamy peanut curry was gorgeous and rich, the tiger prawns with vegetables and tamarind sauce in sweet basil was light with a beautiful citrus-y tang. And the desserts were heaven. Excellent. I will certainly go again.

Went with my friend on a sat in may > we had a lovely time and found the staff friendly and helpful .Neither of us are that familiar with Vietnamese food and thye helped us wiht choosing though did not impose > we had a mix of starters ( quail and duck spring rolls ) both lovely and for the main course had another duck dish and a stir fry beef ( outstanding ) finished with ice cream and coffee and also had a bottle of wine between us . It came to just over £65 which I consider really good value .I would go back and would recomend anyone to try this place , your taste buds will thank you .

This was my first vietnamese meal and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely food, nice service, it's only the ambiance and design of the restaurant itself which warrants any criticism and that is probably unfair given the prices charged here.
Very much a pop in anytime kind of restaurant, the extensive menu appears to offer many authentic dishes and we weren't disappointed with the presentation or the quality of the ingredients. A beef dish was cooked well and the meat was perfectly lean and not too chewy.
We struggled with some sticky "parcels" which were clearly authentic and needed the advice of the waitress to avoid embarrassing food spillage.
There are a couple of beer options and the wine list looks longer than it needs to for spicy food but the whole experience was very good and we will definitely return. The real winner was the price, we couldn't believe that a meal for two including beers would be around £35..unbelievable value, highly recommended as this is quality food for a budget.

Myself and a group of 5 friends visited here last weekend, a Saturday. I had booked the table for 1.30 and when we arrived we were the only people there.

Nice enough little place decor wise. Waitress was helpful and pleasant.

Having been to Vietnam a couple of times I went ahead and ordered a selection for everyone. The starters (2 varieties of spring roll and a Vietnamese salad) were all very nice, but small. 4 spring rolls for £4.50 seems a little steep.

The mains were, by and large, nice also, but just not totally authentic I didn't think. Everything was very pleasant tasting, but there was just something missing. This may well be down to ingredients available over here though, rather than anything else.

This place didn't wow me, but it wasn't bad at all. Pretty expensive, but then again I am from Scotland and this was a London restaurant (all expensive to me!)

Worth a try.

I have been to Da Nang restaurant twice now and both times have been very impressed by the kind, friendly service, the tasty food, and the excellent value for money. My friend and I had starters of duck spring rolls (out of this world) and calamari and prawn rice paper rolls which you roll yourself - delish! Then we had the Pho and the whole Seabass with steamed rice. The chilli sauce for the fish really made it. With a bottle of wine the whole thing came to under £50. And if you dine earlyish midweek, you can get a 20% discount, too - amazing (via a Toptable booking - details also on the restaurant website). I used to frequent a nearby Vietnamese restaurant but this is now my clear favourite. I'll be coming back again, and soon.
