Stayed here in february 2013 at the second floor for 8 nights with my wife.
Hotel is perfectly located offers resonable prices and rich breakfast (mostly eggs with bacon beans and hashbrowns with tea or coffee machine drinks). Personal was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean enough, not all furniture was in great condition still it was acceptable.
Shower in the bathroom cabin is fixed above your head so if for example you don't want to wash your hair this time it is worth to have shower cap. Steep staircase is not a problem because you can use elevator instead. Also in case hairdryer refuses to work you can always take one at the reception.
I think that we will choose this hotel in future.

Stayed here for a couple of nights last week while sightseeing and going to a show! It's VERY well located, 5 mins walk from Paddington and a short tube ride to anywhere else. We also walked back through Hyde Park after going to the National History museum which was a lovely walk about 30 - 40 mins.
The room wasn't huge but had everything we need and the bed was very comfy. Bathroom was nice, working shower etc. The rooms were a bit noise (we could hear downstairs moving around/toilet flushing etc) and we were on the side of the street so got some traffic noise. Breakfast was great, all the staff lovely and helpful, even letting us leave our huge bags with them on the last day so we could pick them up before heading off. For the cost of this place, I can't imagine doing any better in this kind of location and proximity to the centre.

I've stayed at the Radnor three times, twice for business trips and once for a weekend sight seeing trip with family. I love it for it's central location close to Paddington Station. It is also close enough to Hyde Park for morning jogs and within a longer stroll to Marble Arch/Oxford Street for shopping. The rooms are clean and comfortable offering a quiet place to rest :) The staff are friendly and helpful. Full English breakfast, which is included, is satisfying and hits the spot. There are a number of good eating places nearby that we could recommend: Victoria Pub, Noor Jahan II, Cristini. I would highly recommend the Radnor for it's great value for money.

Room Tip: The rooms on the ground and lower ground floors have limited natural light.

We stayed here for two nights in January 2013, when the wife dragged me to see Ronan Keating at O2. Which usually stay in more upmarket hotel...but hey there is a recession on!

We paid £75 per night for two night, double on-suite room inc breakfast. (We found hostels that would have charged us more!)

Location - The hotel is in a nice area with some shops, restaurants and pubs a street or two away, it is located 5 mins walk NE of Lancaster Gate tube station, 5 min walk to Hyde Park, 10 min walk to Marble Arch/Oxford Street.

Reception - Small clean tidy reception area with comfy sofas, water machine, TV.

Room - We had a double en suite, it was very clean, bed was comfy, there was a wardrobe, dressing table, bed side table, lamps and flat screen TV mounted on wall. The en suite was very small but modern, shower cubicle, WC and sink, fresh clean towels. There was very little if any noise from the street at night. Kettle with tea, coffee & milk.

Hotel Generally - The hotel is 2 converted town houses, the rooms and breakfast room are all reached using the lift. Your room key card also opens the main entrance door to hotel.

Breakfast - Breakfast is served in the basement, reach by lift, there are a number of different breakfast cereals, fresh milk, orange juice, fruit, yogurt, there is a coffee vending machine serving free coffee, cappo/latte hot chocolate, the waitress will bring a pot of tea. Cook breakfast is a very small English breakfast, comprising of a very small sausage, 1 rasher bacon, 1 hashbrown, egg and baked beans. Also a supply of toast with Jams. The only negative was the sausage and hashbrown under cooked in my opinion.

The Hyde Park Radnor was a very central hotel a short walk from Paddington Underground. Found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, providing us with maps and pointing out nearby attractions on the map for us. Hotel was good value for money. Functional rooms and great to get a full English breakfast or Continental breakfast in the morning. Very nice staff all round and would definitely recommend and would stay here again on my next trip to London !

Stayed here for two nights in Jan and was impressed by the helpful and friendly staff.
Also a high standard of cleanliness and very comfortable beds and pillows. (I checked and all the mattresses and pillows were spotless and looked new - no stains or signs of over use). Room was quiet (103), although a little small, all the facilities needed were there and working perfectly. Heating was more than adequate such that we had the window open most of the time even in January !
At last I have found an inexpensive but good place to stay in London such that I can afford more frequent trips and will be staying here again from choice.
