“Very impressed with food, service and atmophere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2013

As we expected the food was wonderful and we found the service great with a very friendly professional team of people. Great atmosphere in a nearly full restaurant on a Friday evening with a mix of diners.

“First class food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

Booked lunch trough Travelzoo. Meal was great value with first class food with suitably attentive service. The restaurant was quiet but still had a good atmosphere.

The best Marco Pierre White restaurant we have eaten in.

The room is nice and airy and well laid out.

Strongly recommended.

Not suitable for the less mobile as the toilets are two flights of stairs down in the basement.

“"Pleasant"”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

Went on a busy Saturday Night, I booked a good few weeks ago, glad I did as it was really busy. Not many tables and not very big so the service was good a bit slow to start off, we waitied for 15 mins for our drinks but then got better, they were all rushed of their feet, very polite. Had to choose from set menu the Calimari is one of the best I have ever had, my partner had Beef Capachio, it was bland not interesting. we both had steak which we had to pay extra 6.00 per person it was a little under cooked for the both of us, we ordered Medium it was really rare, tender and tastey but would of liked it cooked just for a little longer, chunky chips are like small roast potatoes and french fries were ok, side oreder of oinion rings which were nice, all 3 sided were 4.00 each extra we were give a taster of pea soup which was wonderful and a taster of Sticky Toffee pudding which was just a good. For deseret I had Passion fruit cheesecake which I only ate 1 mouthfull as a diabetic it was extremely sweet, partner had panacotta which he said was the best he had, I really wish that resturants cater for Wheat allergy, Diabetics and other food requirements. We both had coffee and 1 diet coke
the bill came over 35.00 with 12.5% service charge so our meal came to just under 100.00GBP
even with the coupon, Alot of money for above average food, dont get me wrong it was nice but for that price I expect the whole meal to be perfect.

“Nice food, good service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013

Very nice food, what you would expect from somewhere like this.

Service was good, but maybe this was due to the fact it wasnt very busy, so nut much of an atmosphere.

Overall very nice and no complaints.
