“Really enjoyed the Rossella”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

We had tickets for a show at the Forum in Kentish Town and wanted somewhere to eat before the concert and we found the Rossella which is 5 minutes walk from the venue.
We agree with what other reviewers have said - yes it is not a showy pretentious restaurant, I would describe it more a local 'down to earth' place but that should not put people off because what the Rossella gives you is great Italian food which is very reasonably priced in a family friendly atmosphere. Our party of four all had different starters and main dishes and the main dishes were very generous so unfortunately we did not have room for dessert.
Luca the owner (and one of the chefs) was very friendly and patiently explained all the specials to us. He and all his staff seemed genuinely happy and we were glad we decided to eat at the Rosella rather than one of the sterile pizza/Italian chains which are taking over every where. If you support local independent restaurants then hopefully more places like the Rossella will spring.
Many thanks to Luca and his staff for a great meal.

“Cannot praise highly enough”
Reviewed December 13, 2012

Rossella is situated a ten minute stroll from Kentish Town tube, five minutes from the Forum. Whilst nothing special from the outside, the eating experience certainly is. The choice of starters and mains is excellent, including half a dozen 'specials' for both starter and main. The food is beautifully cooked, generously portioned and the service is first class. We ate there on 13 December 2012 - 4 of us had starters, main coiurse, drinks and coffees and had change out of £20 per head. the host, Luca, works really hard to look after his diners and deserves every success. We will be back!

Reviewed November 20, 2012

I found this restaurant by accident, and what a fantastic surprise! The food was excellent as good as I had when I was in Italy. The staff were so friendly and very helpful, I cannot wait to go back and experience more of the excellent food. I will definately be going back.
