I approached this hotel with some dread as I'd booked it over a bank holiday weekend when hotel prices were sky high so I'd taken a punt and had my fingers crossed. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was indeed small but had all mod cons. I'd booked a windowless room which actually reduced the traffic noise to nothing which was great. The a/c worked well thankfully - if it hadn't we'd have felt like kippers in a bag!
It did have a halls of residence/bunker feel to it and the bathroom situation (opaque glass) means the rooms should only be shared by those who know each other well. I don't think I could have stayed here for more than 2 nights. Having said that the staff are all really friendly, the location is brilliant and the free cheese/wine is a nice touch.More
