If you are interested in Karl Marx and his family's time in London, and the political and historical context of the period he was living in then this walking tour is a wonderful overview. Our guide was a superb mine of information and anecdotes. He was witty and erudite, but never boring. The tour took in much of Soho - including a lovely traditional pub - and ended in the brilliant British Museum where Marx spent a lot of time in the library. You will find out not just about Karl Marx, but about his family, friends and comrades.

..go for this walking tour and one magnificent museum.

London has more impressive institutions than a dog has fleas, but this tour was a delightful change of pace and perspective.
Just strenuous enough, and engaging at so many levels.

Despite a very rainy miserable day, the show went on! Lucia was upbeat and engaging. She took us on a tour of Soho &area, tracing Marx's time in London both good times an bad. She is extremely knowledgeable on this subject! We had a knowledgeable group from all over which Lycia played to! A great afternoon !
