Owner description: Karl Marx lived and worked in London. His ideas inspired protests, strikes, rebellions, revolutions, terrorism, warfare, struggles for freedom, democracy and liberty, and regimes of tyrannical repression. Marx’s story combines comedy, tragedy, love, hate, hope and despair. This sets the backdrop to an intellectual expedition to unravel the mysteries of history, politics, economics and philosophy. We walk you through the life and ideas of Karl Marx. Sundays 11am Piccadilly Circus in front of Criterion Theatre.

Heiko gave us an excellent introduction to the life and theories of Karl Marx. Fast talking and both entertaining and informative he knew his stuff and was perfectly pitched for Marx enthusiasts like myself. Enjoyed a brief pub stop half way and ended up in the superb setting of the British Museum.

Such an interesting and informative tour, and such a great alternative to more traditional walking tours (which can also be fun, of course). Loved all of the stories and bits about Marx's life. Would definitely recommend!

I strongly recomend Karl Marx The Walking Tour to everybody who is interested in the man who, as Heiko our guide recalls, can be considered the most influential person in modern history. During a two hours walk through different spots related with Marx's stay in London, culminating in the library of the British Museum, Heiko gets you into the turmoil of the second halh of the nineteenth century and to Marx's rich political and tragic personal life. With wit, knowledge and wisdom (and even songs) Heiko makes the Marx Walking Tour an unforgetable experience.

I never new how influential Marx's life was on the modern world. The delivery was most entertaining in addition to being fully informative.
I want to hear it again and bring my wife next time.
