Booked this hotel because I couldn't get one nearer central London at a reasonable price. Actually, really pleased I went to this hotel rather than a central London one. This hotel is on the tube, at North Acton. About 7 minutes walk from the tube station. On the walk there's a Sainsbury's Local and Tesco Express if, like me, you needed to get something to eat. I arrived at the hotel between 8pm and 9pm and many were in the hotel restaurant. If you don't want to eat there, nor something from one of the supermarkets nearby, there's a huge Macdonald's across the road from the hotel.
On arrival at the hotel, the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful if they'd tried. They even offered me a Kit Kat choc bar, as I must have seemed very tired from that day's work and travel.
My room was big. If I was into cruelty, it was more than big enough to swing a cat. The room and bathroom was clean. In the bathroom there was a wet room shower, which was great. I was on the 1st floor, the same floor at the meeting/conference rooms and executive suites, it was quiet all night.
The big double bed had clean bedding and was very comfy.
Breakfast was included. It was a help yourself type. All the usual choices.
The down side of staying at this hotel? The fact that I was only staying one night!
