As a frequent business traveler I'm used to challenging accommodations. This hotel was over priced for the service. First, the WiFi didn't work and the hotel couldn't do anything. Kept sending me to an outside service who couldn't fix it either. I went to bed and it was lumpy and hard. Not firm..more like a board. I then heard a train go by...in fact it went by every 15 or so minutes for awhile.

Overpriced, no services, loud and uncomfortable is no way to do business. Good luck!

We spent 5 days at this hotel located in Canary Wharf and from the moment we arrived we loved it. We had requested an early arrival and our room was ready by noon as we had requested! The staff was friendly and helpful. The executive lounge had a lovely view of the Thames and you could see the London skyline from a distance. The food was excellent although they seems to never have enough plates handy, perhaps it was a ploy to have you re-use your plate or to get you to eat less!
Both breakfast and evening hors due overs were substantial.
Upon departure we asked for a late check out and I was delighted when the desk clerk gave me the exact hour that I had hoped for.
While Canary Wharf is a distance from many of the tourist destinations we are comfortable with the underground and had Oyster cards to get around the city. Right next to the hotel is West India Quay DLR station or you can walk to the Canary Wharf station for the Jubliee line.
We arrived to the hotel via the underground from Heathrow and found the travel to be not too bad although you do have to change lines and you should be traveling light! We had our 8 year old with us and each of us had roller bags. We did fine so adults with a good tube map and sense of direction should do well!

Room Tip: We didnt request a special room but did get the river view which we loved. Consider requesting that...

Check in was straight forward and room was clean. Overall service of good standard and value for money

The only downside for me was booking with gala as when cancelling they do not refund money instantly and never answer phone. I would avoid booking via agent and go direct if you can

My wife and I booked this at the last minute as we were going to the O2. It's a very nice hotel and the staff are every friendly. Our room was comfortable, however the mattress was a little too firm for our liking. The bar and restaurant are also very good. Don't expect stunning views, ours overlooked the DLR but it didn't detract from, what was, an enjoyable stay.

Short business trip in London and it was a pleasure to stay with Marriott as always. Lovely location on the docks, convenient for work and a nice area. Service was top notch as always when I've been with Marriott in the past.

We stayed at the Marriott West India Quay, very near Canary Wharf, the DLR and the Jubilee line.
Getting in and out of London was easy.
The staff were genuinely cheerful , helpful and knowledgeable.
The room was perfect - quiet and the bed with its 1000 thread count sheets were more than perfect. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby- although be careful on Sunday nights many are closed.
The price was good because it was a weekend rate in a business hotel, but i would be happy to stay here for business. We travelled everywhere from the West End to Hampstead, it was easily accessible from West India Quay.
Where can I buy those sheets?
Thank you, thank you to the staff.

Went to an amazing event at the O2, but as we live on the Isle of Wight, made sense to book somewhere to overnight.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, the bar food excellent, easy to get to and to the O2 - the room spotless, the bed comfy, the sheets crisp. Excellent all round.

It isn't cheap, but look for deals and you can probably find one - but as we had decided to push the boat out and make the whole thing an experience it was worth every penny!
