Stayed at this hotel for a weekend away with husband and parents, both to go to a concert at the O2 and to do abit of sightseeing around London.
Firstly, the hotel is very nice, our room had a very comfortable kings size bed and all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this rating. The breakfast was superb, best i've had in a hotel, and there was a very friendly chef on hand to make fresh eggs and omelettes to order.
The hotel was in a great location for getting around. Its in a pedestrianised area overlooking the Quay, which is lovely when lit up at night. Hotel is about 1min walk from the West India Quay DLR station and there are nearby restaurants and bars and a shopping centre. The hotel is also a 7min walk from Canary Wharf pier where you can board the Thames Clipper boat to either the O2 (which is very handy for concerts and much less hassle than the tube) or you can travel down the Thames to the other sights like London eye, Westminster etc.
Overall I would throughly recommend this hotel.More
