“Location and design”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

The location of the hotel was very good for me. Very near Pimlico station (about a 4 minute walk) but also near Victoria station.
The design of the rooms is very nice! It is not easy to find a room this good looking in London on a good location for this amount of money. The only comment i have about the room is that it is quite small. For me a small room in a city like London isnt a problem, but it is something you should be aware of.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull!

First of all, the nice parts:

- The location is great. Belgrave road is full of hotels in a pretty safe part of town. The hotel is right in the middle of the distance between Victoria Station and Pimlico, so there's two options to choose from. Warwick and Wilton Rd are close and they have a lot of nice places where you can eat and have a drink.

- The hotel stands out on the inside, much nicer than the rest around it. Nice lobby, friendly staff.

- Clean rooms, small, but you get around your luggage, no big deal. And a standard bathroom which is great.

However, the bad parts!

- NO CLOSET WHATSOEVER! This is why I say not a winter choice. We had good weather in november, we didn't bring many winter clothes, we managed. However, if you have a large luggage and plan on staying for a week, this might not be the choice for you.

- POOR WIFI. Oh boy, do I mean poor. It's useless, don't even bother. It might as well not be there at all.

We stayed here for a night at the end of our trip to England. It was a quick visit to London and The Belgrave was a perfect place to stay. Not only because of its friendly staff and clean, up to date bedrooms, but also because it is situated so well. Within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and the gorgeous St James's Park, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden, and right up the road from Victoria station too.

We stayed in a ground floor room which was spacious and brand new. The shower was the best shower I have ever experienced. I wish we had stayed longer if only to take three of them a day. Total luxury!

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in October, beautifully decorated and clean. Very polite, friendly and assertive staff. Everything is modern and stylish and the hotel itself is situated in a quiet, stylish area of London. Walking distance from Victoria and Pimlico station makes it ideal for short breaks. Couldn't find any faults, will definitely return.

The hotel reception was very modern and the staff very welcoming, first impression was everywhere looked really clean. Our room again was very modern and clean. We had a standard room which are very small and the bed although comfortable was only a three quarter size bed. There is no wardrobe just a place to hang your clothes which has about 6 coat hangers. The bathroom was fine no bath but a good size shower which was powerful.
The hotel is superbly situated just a few minuets from Victoria train station, with places to eat and drink locally. We found it difficult to find this hotel even with the address as there is no sign just the name etched on the windows, we have to thank the postman for showing us were it was.
To sum up :-
Pros - Clean,Modern, welcoming and friendly staff nicely situated for tourist sites.
Cons - Small rooms hard to find hotel but that's it.
Sum Up -Great place to stay for a few days, rooms small but ok for a short 3 to 4 day stay, bigger room needed for longer stay which are available.
We would highly recommend this hotel and we intend to return again and will use it for future shorts stays in London.

My partner and I stayed here at this hotel in August 2013, found it very clean, the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean, the shower was quite big. We did have to upgrade into a room at the front. There was no problem with traffic, very quiet and pleasant. The positioning was ideal for us as we walked to most of the attractions we wanted to see. Would definately stay here again.

We stayed for one night recently and were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. The only downside was the size of the room which was very small. Nice bathroom with great shower and complementary toiletries. Our room was on the 5th floor facing away from the street so was very quiet (for London standards!). As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast is expensive so we ate out at a great local café, of which there are many within a short walk. Very handy for Victoria Station. All in all a great place to stay and we would go back.
