Nice modern rooms, helpful reception staff but internet service in the room did not work for the 3 days of our stay (both wifi and wired), even after mentioning it to the staff. A complaint about it by email to the hotel management got ignored.

This hotel is newly vamped it's very clean and stylish with nice rooms and awesome shower rooms, but does seem to cater to executive business men it certainly does not cater to a 60 something british woman who just wants a few days holiday in nice surroundings. The bed was good quality but the bedding made me sweat and the pillows were uncomfortable. The room was at the back as i had asked for a quiet one but at the the back were workmen banging and sawing.
Considering i had paid £151 per night, i was told breakfast would be £14 extra for full English or £8 for continental.
There were no fire instructions or any information of any kind in the room.
There was an electric heater stood in the room? Is there no central heating?
I found this hotel pleasant but certainly not luxurious.
I will not return as i do not think it is good value for me.

It's fair to say the only thing better than the classy style and levels of comfort are the brilliant staff, who couldn't do enough to make our stay something to remember. I would definitely choose this hotel again, an absolute gem.

Had the pleasure of staying here with a couple of colleagues over the weekend. (May 2013) The hotel is clearly a break away from the norm down Belgrave Road, having undergone a meticulous refurbishment that brings in modern chic whilst respecting the building's heritage. The Hotel is clean, smartly apportioned and delivers a relaxing environment that is ever welcome amongst the city's hustle and bustle. 5 Minutes from Victoria Station (Ideal if travelling to Gatwick,) moments away from local buses and a short hop skip and jump to a variety of local restaurants. Staff are keen and attentive to your needs Athena, Phill and Tim to name but a few. The rooms are clean and inviting, well decorated. The addition of HDMI connectivity and VGA ports in the room was fantastic as I could work on my laptop too. I hope you enjoy your stay much like I have... (There is no swimming pool-) The only thing I would maybe change was my pillow, i felt it was too big- but that's possibly just me.

Room Tip: Room 409 has a lovely view of battersea power station whilst 504 has fleeting views of Big Ben and the london eye. I was envious that my colleague had it!

We booked this hotel because we were going to see Wicked the musical which was just a 2 min walk from the hotel to the theatre.

This hotel had a million pound refurb in 2012 & re-opened in early 2013, the hotel looks fantastic with very well designed modern decor, furniture, rooms & lobby.

As it's so new right now you will find everything clean, freshly painted and no warn or tatty carpets and decor, the staff were extremely friendly & helpful.

Flat screen wall mounted TV's with free view at the end of your bed with a fabulous bathroom with power shower, (no bath) clean and well designed.

Rooms are also fully air conditioned and use key cards to open and lock room doors.

The hotel is in a quiet street just off the main run & it shares the street with over 30 other hotels, because its on a quiet street there is no traffic noise at night & it was very quiet when we got back from the theatre.

The only issue we faced which was not a big issue was the wifi which was slow and sometimes hard to get a reception and for a small hotel this should not have been a problem.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay around this area of London and we will be booking here again without doubt.

By the way central London and the west end is just a 8 min taxi ride and costs around £15 or you can use the tube at Victoria which is £4.50 single and takes just 5 mins.
