Stayed one night. This is student accommodation available outside term time; fresh, clean and very convenient to museums, tube station, park. Excellent value for money. Our booking allowed access to gym and pool (although we didn't use it). Wifi is available but was a separate charge.
Breakfast is over the road in the student cafeteria. Queue up at serving stations rather than table service but food was pretty good. No airconditioning, fan provided, and can leave window open.
The night we stayed the fire alarm rang and we had to evacuate at 3am! The evacuation seemed to progress promptly, everyone out in the square opposite but the communication of the "all clear" and some system for checking was not obvious. Hopefully this will be addressed, however it was a good to know that in the event of a fire the alarms and evacuation route certainly worked.
Would stay there again, overall very handy and great value.

Room Tip: We chose a room with private/ensuite bathroom

Our stay at Princes Gardens was absolutely brilliant. Really good service from the staff who do seem to care you have a good experience.

The rooms are really basic but still have tea making facilities, a fan, a quality shower and were cleaned to a high standard.

To be honest, if you are going to London as a tourist, you don't spend long in the room. For £50 a night per person (inc. a pretty decent breakfast) you can't get better value.

Would happily stay again, wouldn't see me wanting to stay elsewhere in London.

My first night at Beit Hall was very pleasant, but this soon changed when I was told I was actually in the wrong room. They put me in the ensuite room instead of the standard. So I had to move. The shared showers boots of the standart were very nasty with used soaps, hair and smelling of pee. The shower itself was also unpleasant since you can't move the showerhead away from you when the when the first cold stream of water comes out(also true for en-suite room).
I was also very annoyed with the cleaning staff because they continuesly woke me with loud talking and music in the hall way. Moreover it's very awkward to walk down the hall in your pyjamas to shower with the whole cleaning crew there. The rest of the hotel staff were students who were very nice and helpful.
The location is perfect for a first time visit to London. Beit Hall near a few nice museums and public transport. However if you're not in an en-suite room it's not worth your money.

Room Tip: If you're staying here go for the en-suite room! Really!

From the very courteous staff to the spotless rooms and ample breakfast were all conductive to a very pleasant few days in the heart of London.
The rooms set round a grassy square afforded really comfortable beds and tranquility during the nights.

On arrival, we found we had been given the address to the wrong set of blocks because our room had been changed without our knowing. On arriving at the correct set of blocks they had us down as a twin instead of a double. It took well over an hour to change this, even though I had a receipt. We finally got a room, but it smelt strongly of sewage. I had to go back down the road to reception to sort this out. Staff agreed to change our room while we were out as we needed to get going and were getting back late. Because of the problems we ended up late for the one appointment we had come into London for. We got back to the hotel at 11pm and zero effort had been made to change our room. I had to spend another 30 mins in reception sorting this out. In the morning we were given unclear/incorrect directions to the restaurant for breakfast. We went back to ask again and were given a very differing set of directions by another member of staff, which also turned out to be unclear/incorrect. We ended up missing breakfast, which we had paid for. The hotel made the weekend stressful, uncomfortable, and made us late for our prepaid event.

I and colleagues paid about £70.00 per room as we were attending an event at the Royal Albert Hall which is only a ten minute walk away.

Fairly basic accomodation but the room is clean and well looked after, great location and price for central London.

Books up quickly and only available during non term time, obviously.

A basic dorm accommodation, but clean and modern. The location is great, walking distance from musems and Hyde Park. Good choices of restaurants near South Kensington underground station. Staff friendly and helpful. Good wi-fi, but not free. The breakfast is in another building and was very busy. I don’t comment on English breakfast as I don’t eat them. But it has been a good experience that reminds me the good times as a student. But be aware there is no TVs in the room, what can be complicated for a Brazilian in a day of World Cup match. Anyway, yesterday was a night to be forgotten… I highly recommend for tourists, but it is only open during the summer.
