We are still at the accommodation (southside) as I write this review. We had some reservations when we booked as to my wife 'student accommodation' means our son's university halls, which we wouldn't have felt like staying in. We wanted somewhere close to the Royal Albert Hall, and this is literally a stone's throw away. The whole process has been incredibly smooth. A large clean twin room with all we need for a short stay. Plenty of storage space, and functional bathroom and facilities to make a hot drink. No TV but that was no issue for us.
Breakfast is provided in a large 'canteen type' facility which whilst not great food is all that you need and includes hot English breakfast', fruit, coffee, etc...
I have given this a 4 grade because of the great location and for London the terrific value. Had we paid £200 per noght I would have expected a lot more but for the prices set here it is probably as good as London does for the visitor. Our 2 day stay was directly to attend a couple of concerts at the RAH and this could not have worked out better. The college also has a great value bar where pre concert drinks were enjoyed. We stayed in a Central London 'travel' chain hotel last week for another gig and the Imperial College accommodation is much better for the money.
A good choice for summertime visitors to London.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in late August in the Princes Gardens Accommodation . The room appeared to be designed for disabled students and was huge. It's position if you want to visit the South Kensington museums , Victoria & Albert , Natural History, Science Museum cannot be bettered, also great if you want to go to the Royal Albert Hall, or Hyde Park. There is a Student bar in the complex where we had pub grub and seemed fine. It is a bit of a trek for breakfast into the heart of Imperial College across the road, but I would rate the breakfast OK , not great but perfectly acceptable. No TV in room, but reception staff nice and friendly . Overall based on Position and Price Excellent completely outweighed a couple of minor niggles. Would stay again.

The halls were fantastic, the rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. There was a good choice for breakfast every morning including a full english, cereal, fruit and yogurt, toast, croissants and even vegetarian sausages and soya milk. The location was perfect, five minutes from the museums and south kensington tube station. The staff really made an effort to make it more like a hotel than halls of residence and it was absolutely ideal for a cheap room in central london, we stayed at Beit Hall for three nights and can't find any fault at all with the accommodation. All you need to take with you is a hair-dryer, everything else you would expect from a hotel such as tea and coffee making facilities, towels and shampoo are provided for you.

The hotel is very well located, near the Museum of Science and Albert Museum. It's actually a student hostel. Rooms have not balconies. The camera has sufficient storage space is style wagon and has shower ceiling. Breakfast is nourishing, but is not tasty. It is a good location compared to the price.

i didn't expect such a perfect acomodation for such a cheap price, the room I was given was very spacioous -I had requested a single room, but they gave me a double- tea and coffee facilities in the room, very clean bathroom and everything looked nice and clean in the room.
The staff at the check in was really helpful and nice to me, they explained everything to me, including the wifi internet connection, which was 5£ for the entire stay and worke very well from the very beginning.
Breakfast was really good and more then enough, even the breafast staff was really nice and smiled all the time.
The only thing I had a hard time with was getting here with a lot of luggage, but I figured out how to do it better, you have to take the tube till South Kensington, then take the 360 bus and it takes you right to the door of the hotel, VEEERY EASY!!!
In short: a wonderful excperience, I'll definitely go back next time I'm in London!!!

The redeeming feature of my stay was the reception staff who arranged for me to move from the awful room I was given the first night to the student standard accommodation I had been expecting. However, I wasn't expecting the noise levels, the very basic dictatorial breakfast in another part of the site, nowhere on site to eat any other meals, and having to pay an additional fee to use the WiFi, on top of the £95 per night for the room.

The website implies this is a clean cheap alternative to a hotel, but don't expect any customer service!

We were misinformed when we arrived re the opening times of the pool, and when we arrived it was closed. We were told we should have checked the website! No apology from main reception, just a mini lecture on how the price would not have been any less without pool access. The room was very basic not even a hairdryer and the bed uncomfortable. All for £180 a night. NOT AGAIN!
