Following the good reviews we stayed here for 4 days and it is a pleasent and peaceful place. Thanks to friendly staff, firstly the cleaners for err their cleaning well and then reception and dining staff. Whilst the DLR journey time has to be counted in, if you haven't been on this novel driverless noddy train then a busy visually interesting delight awaits - Canary wharf, the dome, old dock buildings, boats and more. Also, ASDA over the road includes Post office, pub, Dental place and cafe. Down the road southwards by pleasant path is another store and another half mile the dock frontage, City airport and dear old father Thames; where you can get a bus 474 or DLR back again!

This is the fifth time we've stayed here when visiting London as it two minutes away from the DLR. check in was easy and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The rooms have recently been refurbished. WIFI is £3.00 24 hours. Car parking is free.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights last weekend and we were pleasantly surprised.

First of all the the transport links are fantastic. If you are travelling from Central London I caught the Hammersmith & City line from Euston Square to West Ham, then caught the DLR to Beckton, it roughly took about 40 minutes. The DLR is located next to the hotel which was very handy and they were very regular.

The room was spacious and clean. I just wish like the City hotels they scrap the baths and just have walk in showers - much easier!

On the first evening we went on the Emirates Cable car which is close by....if you get off at Royal Victoria you catch the cable car over to North Greenwich where the O2 is.

The reception staff were very helpful and check in was nice and easy.

We stayed her for 4 nights in May 2013 whilst we were seeing the sights in London.
The hotel is in a brilliant location as it is next door to the DLR at Beckton which runs trains through to Tower Gateway (Thames Bridge) every few minutes and if you want to can then get connections elsewhere in London on the Tube, we were very impressed with the DLR and the tubes never had to wait more than 5 mins all through our stay.
The hotel itself is very clean and more importantly very quiet with good sized rooms there were 4 of us and there was plenty of room. Next door is a Brewers Fayre which does the breakfasts and meals and was fantastic value and is Children friendly.
If you want a hotel that is cheaper than staying in the Centre of London but has great transport links to the tube and train then this is the place.

This Premier Inn was very clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a short ride from the hotel into London using the Dockland Light Railway, which is right next door. There is nothing else there but the hotel and an Asda so don't expect to have an ecxiting evening. The hotel is joined to a Brewer's Fayre which is where the meals are served. They were ok but standard pub chain stuff. I think the breakfast is a rip off, as there is nowhere else to go, you are a captive audience, so to speak. However, the hotel was easy to get to, handy for the city and we parked the car in the large car park and just forgot about it for a few days. We stayed for 3 nights and spent £40 between us on Oyster cards but we travelled about quite a bit. Cheaper than parking charges and congestion charges. We would use this hotel again.

My family and I enjoyed our mini break to London over the whit bank holiday, we arrived early before the check in time and found the staff to be very accommodating by letting us leave the car in the hotel car park, so we could travel into central London (and the parking is free).
The docklands light railway station is next to the hotel so no long walk to the station, plus the trip into London was very easy with great views.
The rooms where very clean with a very comfortable large double bed and with talking two older children there was a single and another separate pull out bed. The room also had a large flat screen tv on the wall, tea/coffee making facilities clean bathroom with plenty of towels, the only slight downside was the room got quite hot at night as there is no air conditioning but there was a fan in the room.
Breakfast was a great deal too especially if you have children £8.25 per adult for a full English and the kids eat free, there is a continental option as well, the food was good with plenty of choice.
I would definitely stay again for the price.
