I'd read a lot of good reviews about the Crown Moran Hotel in London and it definitely met my expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well designed with a great bathroom and comfy beds. There's a safe in your room you can program to keep your valuables. The staff was always gracious, knowledgeable and eager to please. Even though it's located away from the center of London, don't let that deter you. The neighborhood is quiet with a lot of shops and cafes to explore. Try the bagel/bakery right across the hotel for some great sandwiches and pastries. Several bus lines stop right in front of the hotel and they take you straight to the Kilburn underground. With a little help from maps and guides you can find at the station, plus very helpful staff at the station window, you'll be able to get anywhere you want to go. Ask for Alan at the hotel and you can hire his cab to take you on a day-long tour or short skip to a specific location. All in all, a great stay and I'll definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Our room faced a back lot and we slept just great -- so quiet. Temperature is adjustable in the roo...

Stayed in the crown for 2 nights 28th & 29th Sept, hotel was sooo busy, staff were running trying to serve and help people in the bar/lounge with bar food and drinks, lots of orders getting mixed up, but the staff were so nice. There was a wedding on and hotel was fully booked. Our room was nice and spacious etc except there was no window!! There was a false window with a daylight flouresent light, so at times, if we thought about it, found it a bit claustrophobic. Breakfast is upstairs in the "kitchen restaurant" it is too small and they ran out of hot water for tea, tea bags etc. Maybe this was because the hotel was so full, but staff tried hard to rectify the matter and were still pleasant. On the Sat night the hotel ran out of all beers, lagers etc on tap except for carlsberg. Lots of unhappy people!!! I would still go back, but would not stay in room 253.

Room Tip: Room 253 no window only imitation one.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights on 21 and 22 September 2012. Check in was very quick and we parked our car in the underground car park which was very handy. The rooms were very spacious and clean and all staff were helpful and friendly. Didn't hear any noise from other guests so got good nights sleep. Used crown pub next door and found this to be very nice and reasonably priced for a pint. Tube station is ten minutes walk away or a couple of minutes on tube.
All in all a lovely hotel, would definitely recommend and would stay in again if I visit London.

We knew THE crown was outsider the city but we thought That THE price and the good size room would make up for that. It did not! We arrived late friday night. Overbooked!! Got Angry, no effect. We're brought to days inn on THE M1. Good place , friendly staff but no location. Brought back THE next morning. Promessed good room and Free breakfast. Took THE breakfast (wich for Free was okay) but we were told That our room would not be ready intikken two. Got agree again and after breakfast THE had à double room. We booked AM executive room two beds. All of à sudden there was another Free ( did they had one available on friday night????). After That stay was good but on sunday underground out of order. Took à lot of time traveling That weekend

We had a couple of hiccups when we first checked in (didn't get the room we paid for and it took two trips back to reception to get it fixed). Hotel manangement to their credit upgraded us to a suite because of the issue, so the customer service from the Shift Manager was outstanding. The location is not the best, but all forms of public transport are close by, so it wasn't that much of a problem. The room we had was spacious, well appointed, although there wasn't a fridge, which would have been handy. There was however, an iron and ironing board in the room and I always find that a bonus. he free Wi-fi worked well in the room and the Crown Pub next door served great cold beer and nice pub meals at reasonable prices. Breakfast was included in the rate and was (only just) okay. Some of the staff in the restaurant (at brekky) struggled with their english, but they were smiling and were trying and that's the main thing.

Beautiful hotel, the rooms were very spacious and spotless and luxurious. the only bug bear i have with this hotel was it took about 25 minutes to check in and i had my 2 year old son with me who realy needed the toilet, we had travelled from West Wales so this was added pressure I didnt need! Also, there had been a mess-up with my booking as the staff couldnt find it at first and it worried me that we might not have a room for the night!!
especially as they had taken the money from my bank account! Luckily everything was fine and our room was available etc, but it did annoy me. And to add insult to injury, the reception desk asked for 20pounds deposit which isnt alot of money in the grand scheme of things but i wasnt expecting it (it doesnt mention this on any of their literature or Booking.com website). All in all, not a great start to our stay and it has put me off a bit, but otherwise the hotel is more like 5* not a 4* and I would go back

We stayed here four nights and had an excellent time. We appreciated the size of the rooms as we were traveling with our 21 year old son so having three adults in a room takes up a lot of space. Our room faced the Main Street but we did not find the noise out of the ordinary and we are folks that live in the country who are used to no lights and no noise. We ate in the bar our first day and the food was delicious. We found the staff very helpful, and willing to give us directions to our various venues. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms spacious and modern. It was easy access to the tube or the over ground rail.
