Prebooked a room and upon arrival I was told they overbooked and there was no room, but another hostel half way across the city was available. They did find space for me at the one down the street but it was in a freshly painted room that made you feel sick. Out of 3 bathrooms on 2 floors only one had toilet paper. Breakfast was ok. Since they overbooked they offered the room at no charge, so the experience was fine. But not somewhere I would want to pay for. Staff was not exceptionally friendly or knowledgeable. Would only stay for one night max.

Spent a couple of weeks here and thought it was great! Nice location (near Borough market and just down the road from a tube station), lockers are cheap if you want to drop your bags off early, friendly staff, free breakfast, lockable basket under all the beds, free wifi, decent bar downstairs...what more could you want? Obviously its a budget hostel, but the bathrooms weren't too bad, and its not that noisy if you pack earplugs. Would definitely stay again.

Okay hostel, great location (being near london bridge) Stayed here for 3 weeks. Staff were nice but had no clue what was around them and couldn't give advice on most touristy things. Rooms and hallways are constantly being cleaned but always manages to somehow feel and look dirty and toilets always manage to look disgusting. Cleaning staff are rude. Not much of a hostel atmosphere where backpackers come together.

In London this could be one of the best hostels taking into consideration all the services provided for the value you pay. NIce staff, nice atsmophere, good room, nice facilities and breakfast included. From this hostel you can walk to the London Bridge and then start walking along the river, and this is really great.

A hostel with free lockers, wifi and breakfast is already a good one! It's well-located, just 200m away from the tube stop (London Bridge), is across the road from a supermarket and is right by the Borough Market which makes a great few hours of drooling over fresh fruit, breads and cheese! The beds are comfortable enough... and as in all of the St Christopher's I've stayed in, the atmosphere is pretty lax and fun.
The major fault is the showers - showers seem to be a really difficult thing to get right! Not only is it one of those ones where you have to press the button every ten seconds, but they are COLD!! When it's the beginning of winter and it's freezing outside, it is not a nice feeling!

Great location near the London Bridge tube stop. My friend messed up the reservation (accidentally reserving 2 guys in the all-female hostel), but the front desk & manager were able to help us out without much issue. It's connected to a bar, but in all honesty, London has so many places to eat and drink, but the location offers many pub/restaurant choices nearby. The facilities are decent (I just wish they had more showers available) and the vibe seems like mostly young travelers, but age range varies, and free wifi is always helpful. It's a really cool, vibrant hostel...but it's busy, so be sure to book early.

I am just back from my stay in London, we attended a concert in Brixton, but we decided to stay here because it seems like a decent place on the cheap. We we're greeted nicely and directed to our room, hostel seems fun and clean. Room was fine, 14 bed mix dorm, sure it wasn't the ritz, bed was a little lumpy, although I think I slept in the wrong bed the first night due to too much drinks in the karaoke bar. Some of the guests are a little uptight, so if you can afford a room for your party to have to themselves, I'd suggest you spend the little extra, otherwise you have to put up with moaning. I understand that not everyone is there for a party but if you pay cheap then you have to put up with the whims and fancies of your roommates and they are entitled to enjoy themselves/not enjoy themselves, although of course, within reason. So if your on a rowdy lads holiday, maybe splash out for a private room, otherwise you end up with people who think they are world-weary travelers, usually with dreadlocks and a copy of the hunger games telling you to be quiet every few minutes.Still overall, I thought it was nice and cheap

Room Tip: If you are going in a group, maybe try get a room just for your group
